Ah psychic summer camp, it was only yesterday, but feels like 20 years ago!

A great use of roguelite ARPG mechanics to tell a charming tale of someone moving to the Big City. I really enjoyed how the dream setting allowed them to have lots of creative items for the player to use, but what drew me in was how the relationship building conversations felt so true to life.

I'm an aerospace engineer and I'm incredibly impressed with the amount of historical knowledge that went into this game! I love that it lets me live out my "what if I were in charge" fantasies, and it creates some great tense moments:

- Launching Apollo in a storm to beat a rival agency and having my own "SCE to AUX" moment
- Being surprised I lost the lead in space stations because I was distracted by The Grand Tour
- Tricking the Russians into paying for my space shuttle with a joint mission
- SLS Block I blowing up my Mars Hab. Because of course it would, with the pogo instabilities

Fun management sim, fun logic puzzles, fun living out history - A+ Steely Eyed Rocket Game!

In a year long pandemic, a game about traveling and connecting people is exactly what I needed.

I thought this game would be a cute bit of fluff, but wow did it ever exceed my expectations! It uses every element of its design, right down to the achievement system, to challenge how we think about conflict resolution and the hero's journey in games. And it keeps on finding novel ways to use it's unique singing mechanic so it stays fun to play, too!

Starcom is really more than the sum of its parts. The combat, ship design, exploration, puzzle solving, and narrative are all nice on their own, but put together they make for a really engaging experience.

I am a Rocket Scientist, and I approve of this game. It's got to be the most true to life astronaut simulator out there. Not in the sense of being hyper realistic, but more in the sense of feeling like your life depends on understanding how your ship works and keeping your head in a crisis.

It's designed to be a short, 1-2 hour game where the mechanics tie into the story for an emotional effect. For me, at least, OPUS delivered, and I quite enjoyed it!

I've played a lot of spaceflight simulators, and I've never had more fun than I have with this one.

Piloting a larger ship just *felt* good, the science fiction technology was unique, the missions were challenging but fair, and it had a surprisingly good story with some branches and morality choices involved.

I can't speak to any technical issues with this version ... it worked on my box for the first couple of missions ... but the command scheme and graphics certainly are dated at this point.
