fun, i used outcast engineer for all the guns and minigun, then i find out 3/5 of the difficulties have friendly fire for ranged attacks, and because this is horde shooter that has melee as a valid playstyle, ofc everyone's in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ way so i cant even use my guns, bad game design.

If you try to go alone to get some room to shoot, you will get incapacitated because of the left 4 dead style special enemies. Most of the classes have guns and they cant even fully use them lmfao

edit: for clarification, you have to play higher difficulties to get better gear/stats after certain thresholds

If you liked the first game, you wont like the second one. the difficulty if up there with hotline miami but with endless enemies that don't lose their hostile state at all even if you hide if they discover you. kinda annoying since they are trying to mimic the hitman games here. none of this is helped by the fact that cheesing is the way to survive once your detected, especially when you can mow down enemies, but then get killed by a shotgun blast that does more than half your hp of damage.

there are no saves either, you sneak around, get detected once, you better restart cus fennel is nerfed compared to the first game and the game is not afraid to send the whole map at you

all of this feels like a massive step down from the first game somehow.

Also, all those fancy combos in the trailer? yeah you're completely vulnerable to damage while performing them. There is no knife like the first game where you can kill your enemies after countering them instantly w/o some finisher cutscene (that doesn't grant protection during said cutscene *facepalm*)

TL;DR it's not an immersive sim game anymore, you will be fine if you didnt play the first game and got excited to play the rest like me

Edit: alright so this is weird, but all of this only applies to the tutorial mission and the 3 side missions, the main mission which is meant to be as big as act 1 of the first game is set to same difficulty as the first game???? Guess the whole "no saves" gimmick spoke louder ig lmao.

avoid the sequel, it's not enjoyable or fun, and the structure of the game becomes a level select W/O saving options

utter trash time sink and basement dweller nonsense, they want you to sweat constantly, or you will be kicked after 10 minutes of being a "lazybeard" And that means losing all your stuff and starting over. bye bye progress and loot.
