Awesome game!
Has similar RPG elements to the Starcraft 2 Campaign.
Really makes you think about your choices and very good at preventing you from loading over little mistakes. Really enjoyed this and wish only that there was more to experience.

Early Access Review
Feels a lot like Subnautica, but mostly on the surface of the water. You get to be the robo-captain of a big diesel boat on the ocean. Its actually really fun and the world feels like it has a reason for you to look after it and invest into. I've only played a few hours, but I feel attached and invested in the story.

Early access Notes: It's more than a bit laggy when you have a lot of cables laying around, I also think theyre is currently a memory leak as I'll go from 90+ fps to a choppy 40 after leaving the game open for 4+ hours.

Critiques: I wish there was that same style of AI assistant voice from Subnatica with you analysing things to make it feel a bit more alive though at quiet times like when find terminals. Its one of the things I enjoyed from there, the game reading out research notes of materials and notes you find. The cold AI getting things slightly wrong at times adding a bit of a funny element to it as well.

In this you have a AI voice that guides you, but its very polished and reminds me heavily of the game Per Aspera's AI narration, which isn't bad at all either, but the style feels a bit more choreographed.

The notes you find are just walls of text that you unlock in fragments that don't make any sense at first making reading them feel like a confusing slog even if you're interested in the underlying lore/story.

Could be made more interesting if the AI would interpret the broken notes incorrectly at first alluding to incorrect assumptions about human hobbies/nature.

Its just a really good Game! Reward amazing works of art and buy this game! If you liked the first one or in general the idea of being thrown into a position of power, being in charge of the future of an uncertain human settlement through the apocalypse then you'll like this. Its very polished and clearly was crafted by a team with a true passion for creating games that tell complex stories!

Play the first one first. They are both amazing and its not required, but it has a lot of story continuity.

Very fun game with an endless amount of stuff to do! Feels so easy to become immersed and its quite hard to cheat in if you find yourself to be the Safe-scumming type. Feels very high stakes compared to most games which keeps you honest. Being a thief is a rough path. Goodluck!

[115 hours past 2 weeks], Steam doesn't track DLC hours.

This expansion is truly a labor of love that showcases why Wube Software is among the most dedicated dev teams out there. Space Age isn't just an addon. It's practically a whole new game's worth of content that seamlessly integrates with Factorio's core experience.

From the massive new planets (each with their own unique mechanics and challenges) to the game-changing space platforms and elevated rail systems, every addition feels thoughtfully crafted and essential. The quality system adds incredible depth to production, while the professional orchestral soundtrack for each world shows attention to even the smallest details.

What really stands out is how all these features work together to create something special. This isn't just more content, but it's "Factorio" evolved to new heights.

Developers who keep delivering with this level of passion deserve recognition, and Space Age absolutely deserves a Steam Award nomination. The expansion sets a new standard for what DLC can be.

You run with your scroll wheel...
And that feels right for some reason.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!
A Pixelated Symphony of Hash Dash and slash.

Couldn't wait to get into this. Glad to see this finally come out.

Who knew you could cram so much charm into so few pixels? The artwork is pixel-perfect, dripping with retro-nostalgic aesthetic.

The movement is nuts. Can't wait to see the speedruns here. Fluid is an understatement. It's like your character drank a whole gallon of Red Bull. Speedy, and responsive. It's like a perfect fast-paced ballet for those who like to dance on the razor's edge when playing on the Diluvian Ultra Difficulty.

Will update this as I progress.

I want to like this game more, but it is a bit rough.

The game is more of a idle clicker tower defense. It is fun and has some strategy, but the cards are bugged. I blew through the all the character unlocks but the last once was stuck. I kept getting the same hand of cards every single run and half the cards don't actually work with his ability.

The final character is definitely rough around the edges. It feels like the game would have some repeatability, but it does not. You'll unlock most of the cards in the first run through of each character. Once you have about 20ish unlocked cards it seems to bug and you'll never see a good chunk of those cards again for the rest of your playtime.
