Beautiful world building. Memorable characters. A brooding, ethereal soundtrack. Overall very good voice acting. Even the "bad" voice acting is, in my opinion, meant to be a bit schlocky and tongue in cheek. Thought provoking and hilarious dialogue and commentary. This game will stick with you to the end of your days. A very unique world but one not unlike our own.

A warning. This game is reams and reams of reading. Think of this more as an animated choose your own adventure book/point and click adventure. If you're commonly skipping dialogue in other games, I would tell you to not even bother. But in that same breath I would beg you to step outside your comfort zone to experience this game.

These games are normally not my bag but after recently beating a couple more active game play like games like Ratchet and Clank, Just Cause 4, Resident Evil 4 RM, Tears of the Kingdom, and Hogwarts Legacy, I decided to give this one a go as it had been sitting in my library a bit too long. I'm so glad I did.

I got what I understand to be the good ending with the majority of side tasks cleaned up in 31 hours. I did my best to exhaust all dialogue trees with every NPC in an attempt to gain as many tasks as possible. Some will remain incomplete based on how quickly you move on it, what day you're on or what type of character you're role playing as. I feel that's why a second play through is a must. I plan on rerolling a character and jumping back in very soon. Already knowing how this world works and the basic story beats will only open up this world and its options even more.

If you don't want to support the publisher for the sheisty crap they pulled, I totally understand. Sail the seas into the pale for a copy of this game.
