Forza Horizon 6 has gotten a lot of downvotes, and when you check the vast majority of them, it’s people complaining about forced cutscenes, crashes, or compatibility issues. I don’t want to dismiss those complaints, but with my specs, I personally didn’t experience any of that, the game even runs amazing for me, fully maxed out Ray tracing on 1440P, still 160+ FPS

I use the Moza R3 to play the game, and it’s been great!

Now, about the game itself, this is one of those games that’s just such an improvement over the previous version. I wasn’t even a hater of the Mexican world in FH5, even though I know some people disliked it.

But the cars are amazing, the sounds are just better, the UI is better and faster, and even going back to your house isn’t a loading screen transition anymore. Everything just feels faster, smoother, and more polished.

The world is amazing too. It’s super detailed, and some parts are genuinely breathtaking. FH5’s world was already nice, but Japan is definitely an improvement in so many ways. It actually feels real.

The new garage system and auction house are also great. I love how much more responsive and fast everything is now. There are lots of good QoL changes. In the end, it’s still Forza, so it’s not like it’s a completely new game, but the things that define what Forza is have all been improved and refined for the better.

One sliiiight annoyance is that everything is left side driving now, of course, because it’s Japan. But that’s honestly just something you get used to. The amount of traffic on the roads though… maybe that’s also a get used to it thing, but right now it feels like it’s just a little too much sometimes. Could just be personal preference.

Overall though, amazing game. Definitely a step up from FH5, lots of fun, and a lot of fun new things to do.
