it's definitely an asset store game but it's a very good asset store game.

devs killed this game a while ago, sadly. It's strongest driving factor was its mod support. One update completely broke all mods and the player count never really recovered. You can occasionally find one full lobby, usually because it contains Habie147.

If it goes on 90% on sale, give it a go and check in occasionally to see if such a lobby exists. If it does, you'll have a good time.

This is a cult classic for a reason.

This game is heavily inspired by the book Roadside Picnic. The two biggest names also using this universe are Stalker and Into The Radius and I am happy to include Pacific Drive among them.

This game PERFECTLY captures the feeling that the zone is alive, intelligent, and so disgustingly malicious that just driving around in a safer area makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end with the feeling that you are being watched.

I have not finished it as it sadly came out in a period full of other amazing games that distracted me. I absolutely have to get back into it.

This game is amazing. Watching any content online WILL ruin it for you. If you opening the steam page is the first time you have ever heard of this game then buy it, buy the DLC and cancel all of your plans.

Very short but great little Metroidvania.

Worth its price tag
