Parasite Mutant feels like a heartfelt tribute to "Parasite Eve" with promising mechanics, but it still needs refinement before it truly stands alongside the classics that inspired it. The foundation is compelling, especially its tactical combat and nostalgic aesthetic, but rough execution and interface issues and lack of character from the main protagonist in the current demo.

Hades II is everything a sequel should be: richer, bolder, and endlessly fun. It expands the universe in meaningful ways while preserving the heart and soul of what made the original a modern classic.

If you loved Hades, this is a must-play. If you didn’t this might be the game that converts you.
