Pure achievement farm. Do the first 10 tracks on a single lap and you get all 109 of them. My playtime includes some AFK:ing in the menu as well.

Besides that, the AI is plain and is on rails, just slower than you so it's just about impossible to lose if not for the physics that can throw you to wherever after a jump. Also, hitting literally anything, which includes walls, terrain and AI cars, throws you in a 90* turn or randomly flips you.

Ends up being a waiting game quite quickly because of a stamina system just like a mobile game. Does absolutely not belong on PC (or imo in gaming at all) unless you want to throw tonnes of money to be allowed to even play.

From a disastrous release to some of the biggest free updates in modern gaming history, this game has definitely turned around from a disaster to a real long lasting experience.

90% of games just end in a brawl outside the cabin after a couple of minutes. If someone is found out to be a traitor your only option is to run after them with a weapon and kill them, no discussion and trying to throw blame on eachother like any other good Mafia-style game.
The voting system does nothing as "Exile" doesn't impact at all since they can just survive outside the cabin and still just sit and attack people.

There's no reason you should be able to just run around attacking people as you wish. It just invalidates the whole voting system completely and makes it more of a "who figures out a single enemy first and has the best weapon".

It's relaxing walking around, exploring and doing some casual hunting. Especially if you play with friends.

Still cannot recommend this since the focus of the developers is on making new DLC instead of fixing game-breaking and immersion-ruining bugs.

Even with the removal of Red Shell spyware, it has been replaced and the company collects the following information at their discretion from your machine to do what they want (sell to unknown third parties):

"first and/or last name, e-mail address, phone number, photo, mailing address, geolocation, or payment information. In addition, we may collect your age, gender, date of birth, zip code, hardware configuration, console ID, software products played, survey data, purchases, IP address and the systems you have played on. We may combine the information with your personal information and across other computers or devices that you may use."

I would follow their own advice as follows:

"If you do not want your information used or shared in this manner, then you should not use the Software."

I, for one, would rather NOT that my billing information that even includes my phone number is sold to unknown companies. Until this is removed from their EULA and Privacy Policy, I will not change this review's rating nor give insight to the game as to help people avoid this horrible company and their game.

P.S. I have way more game-time thanks to the original standalone since pre-alpha that I've been playing on.

Early Access Review
Easily worth on sale. More replayability with not having a charging bar but forcing you to actually swing to hit the ball. Also has a map editor for infinite maps.

Pay 2 Win with the new update, while developers spit out lies of it being a necessity from an economic standpoint and growth. Too bad they've released their profit statements before this was released showing their biggest revenue to date, and everything they've used as an excuse has been contradicted by themselves.

When you get past the "tutorial" figuring out the controls (not hard, but a tad annoying that you have no idea the inventory is 'P' while you move with WASD/Arrows, fight with 'F' and interact with 'Spacebar') the game is enjoyable so far (after some trouble but I'll post the fix down below).

First Evoland was about a proof of concept and the evolution of graphics in game over time, just how a game develops (getting more directional movement, better sprite quality, SFX, music, etc.). The seconds one goes away abit from this and mainly goes from 2D 32-bit, to 2D 16-bit (has to do with the story, which it actually now has one) and to 3D (+ 2.5D later on). Instead, this iteration explores the different styles of games (top-down RPG, 2D platformer, Fighter). It makes for a nice variation of gameplay and style, something the first one was abit lacking of.

Now, for the trouble of this game being unplayable when getting to the 3D section which I've seen some people having trouble with, I finally found a fix (if you have 64-bit Windows atleast).
Go to 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash' and find the file 'mms.cfg'. In it, put these two settings:

DisableHardwareAcceleration=0
EnableHardwareAcceleration=1

If that doesn't work, try first reversing the '0' and '1', start the game, get to the laggy part, close the game and set the settings back to what I've written. Hopefully that helps!

Really good lobby simulator. Not as good as 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Closed servers edition', but it's close.
