The Bazaar is a crazy place.

What I consider to be an incredibly fun game that has struggled to find a place for itself in terms of monetization.
While the core gameplay is fantastic (Auto-battler with a sort of Draft Deck system, This recent move to steam has clearly been an insanely fast pivot.

What was ORIGINALLY planned as a F2P game (And still sort of is if you go through the Temp launcher, instead of steam), has now adopted a Pay-to-Play system that, at the non-sale price, is a bit steep.

The initial (And quickly brought back) sale price of 20 dollars for 4 incredibly unique and varied characters is a fantastic value, but is now adrift in a sea of confusing vestigial currencies and battle pass.

I have no doubt in my mind that there will be more changes made to the game in terms of monetization at this point.

At the sale price of $19.99 for 4 characters, the incredible production value, and the sheer fun of the game I would strongly recommend it as long as you are able to sort through the remnants of a dead monetization structure.

I have lost myself to madness. The skilling calls to me. It is all I know. I yearn to mine coal.

NUMBER GET BIGGER. BAR GO UP. HAPPY CHEMICALS GO BRRR.

Playing this game brings me back to the first time I played Geometry Wars. Despite it being simple and repetitive, it's a perfect arcade-like experience.

Tons of different upgrades and evolving weapons.
Different types of play styles.
Unlocks tied to achievements.
Different characters.

Hell seems alright.


Those are crepes though.
