This game is a must have for any RTS lover. I have played quite a few. Among my favorites are Starcraft, Command and Conquer 2 and Generals, Age of Empires 2 and Mythology, Sins of a Solar Empire, and Empire Earth.

ANd even thought I practicly grew up on RA2 and AoE2, this is by far my favorite RTS. It's It can a bit daunting at first, but it's is not as complex as it is first appears. The strategy is fatastic (when not "camping"/turteling), the variety is great and it's probably the only RTS that has gotten scale to feel so right.

I'm not gonna rant about it, but I do highly reccommend it.
