A surprisingly good game that tugs at your heart strings. Combat is engaging, with a memorable music score. Characters are likable. The visuals are good too. A game made by devs that they want to play.

Its dark souls mixed in a turn based rpg.

The game was very fun at the start. Getting to the end game content wasn't too bad, F2P took a few weeks longer doing Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids for mats which you're capped entering per day or per week. Upgrading gear by honing was rng and as you kept playing, it requires more mats, more gold to progress your character's gear. If you swipe your CC, you can get to your desired item level, but being F2P, you're looking at months of farming.

Essentially this game is like a second job. It requires a lot of time if you want to continue doing end game content.

Now, even if you get to the item level for the Legion raids, there are gate keeping and its toxic. No one likes to be jailed. When you got 6+ characters at end game all doing Legion raids, Guardian raids, Chaos dungeons for your dailies, it becomes time consuming and everyone is trying to finish their 3 Legion raids per week on 6 characters each.

They introduced tier 4 a year ago and starts at item level 1640, while streamlining the engravings, gear and accessories. Solo mode was introduced before I even quit. Certain Legion raids allowed solo mode, so if you couldn't get into a group, that was an option, I think its less gold and mats? Player count is around 10K and I'm guessing majority are bots doing RMT. It always has an RMT problem even when the game launched.

Go play a different game.. The honing, the gatekeeping will frustrate you and the microtransactions are predatory.

Magnificent game with a lot of content. You may be stuck in character creation making your tav as chad or waifu as possible.

I enjoyed most of the companions on my journey. Some of them, you recruit them so late that you'll pass on them or its a duplicate class that already exists in your party. Definitely liked taking all the origin companions. There companion quest are fleshed out. Some more than others.

So many choices and paths. Can't do them all or you can try. There is so much content, it'll keep you busy well over 100+ hours if you try to do them all.

Experimenting with your build is a lot of fun. Disappointed with a companion? Respec them into something else.
Give this game a try. You won't regret it and Karlach is best girl! Its a fact.

Easily top contender for GOTY. Maybe even GOAT too or both.

Update: Mods just got added with Photo Mode, Cross-Play and 12 Sub-Classes being added next year. Its just keeps getting better.

Early Access Review
Really fun roguelike game. You start with 3 characters and unlock and buy more. Each character has a passive and your goal is to survive the horde of monsters thrown at you. Its heavily inspired by Castlevania. Its more like a bullet hell, but you're not dodging bullets, just monsters instead.

Each time your character levels, you get a choice of 3 random powerups or passive. Try them all. The game wants you to experiment with builds. The weapon combinations to get evolved weapons is a nice touch. I accidentally found out evolved King Bible and that weapon mowed so many enemies down lol.

Wish all weapons get evolved forms later. You can also buy powerups at the Main Menu. The cost of all powerups increase by about 10% after each purchase, so its wise to buy the most expensive one first. If you don't like your powerups, you can refund your gold at no penalty and redo them.

The game doesn't support Steam overlay. It'll get Steam cloud support soon.

I managed to reach Death at 30 minutes, but can't kill it on ver. 0.2.7. Definitely enjoyed it for the price.

Gameplay is fun. Battlepass is not.

Pros:
Character creation and building your own party is the best part of the game.
A lot of flexibility with vocations and switching between them. Try all of them and see which suits your playstyle.
There is Fashion Dogma.
Similar to Monster Hunter and climbing beasts and attacking individual body parts to break them off for reagents.
Can teach pawns how to behave and/or attack with elixirs.

Cons:
One save per account.
Lack of crossplay.

Probably killed Death way too many times.

Its anime Hearthstone, but with less rng. They're generous with packs as a new player. Powercreep exists so if you're planning to be competitive as F2P, you're looking at a lot of grind. It also has RedShell which is spyware that tracks your PC activity. There is no opt out and most users don't know about it. Won't be playing it anymore and can't recommend it because of that.

CS:GO Review
A lot has changed. You got loadouts, character with equippable gear on your dashboard. You got operators now like Rainbow Six Siege instead of your generic T and CT guy. Love that this still gets updates even after all these years.

Its more streamlined compared to previous Fallout titles. The main story is pretty weak. Its more focused on gameplay than story this time. The faction quest themselves are a joke. Their are progression in them, but a few will promote you too quickly such as the Minutemen and Brotherhood of Steel. They happen to trust a complete stranger from a vault.

There aren't too much sidequests to keep you busy.
Building settlements was weird. Didn't invest too much time into it. I came to protect my settlement when I can. Felt like it was shoehorned into the game.
Crafting and modding weapons is still pretty fun.
Crits work slightly different in this game. Its only useable when you have a full crit meter and you press spacebar in VATS.
Critical hits does not occur outside of VATS. Sneak attacks are different from criticals.
This game is shallow compared to Fallout New Vegas or Fallout 3. Go shoot and kill things and don't think too much about the story. Still a fun ride.
Also, if you have a 144hz monitor, the game caps it down to half of that, so 72-73 fps. I think its tied to the engine and if you force it to 144, it breaks certain animations or crashes.

This game starts off with a slow burn but gets really good later on. The cast is memorable with all their own quirks. The story will keep you coming back until you finish it. The characters are fleshed out and you get emotionally attached to them through their plight. The banter between Estelle and Joshua is hilarious. Fond memories after I finished it and would recommend this to anyone who loves rpgs.

I was surprised at how good the story was. One of the best JRPG's in a very long time. The "I'm not crying, there's something in my eye award" sums it up nicely.
