Firewatch its probably the best example of games being art that I can think of.

TLDR: Buy this game even if you hate nature, have never seen grass in real life, and don't talk to anyone ever you will not regret it.

Now let me preface this review by saying that I find it difficult to finish most things, movies, tv shows, any single-player game. This being said I played through Firewatch in one 4 hour long sitting and loved every second of it, I am not someone who is into nature and yet the landscape and environment of this game is truly incredible and draws me in every time I come back. The choices you make along the way, like naming your dog or turtle, are not life or death but they still feel more impactful than most AAA games with "choices". There are too many things I love about this game to fit in a review but, if its not already obvious, I highly recommend to anyone even if you are not at all interested in these kinds of games.
