I hated interacting with things, especially if they were close to other interactable things. This game would improve a lot with a button that lets you cycle interaction targets. That is truly my one and only critique of this absolute masterpiece.

I would remove FORGE DEEP RELATIONSHIPS part of the Steam store information of this game. I didn't read this page before I played (or maybe I did way back when I added this game to my whishlist), and I feel like I would have felt cheated out of an important part of the game if I had.

Having not cleared the game yet I still think I've played enough for an initial review. It's a very interesting game, but it's annoying. I have a lot of things I want to try, but as far as I can tell it's very up to chance whether I can try it or not, and if I can't I have to restart and hope for better luck next time. It feels like this artificially extends the game for no real good reason. I am invested and I want to finish it, but I feel like the game doesn't respect my time. There are a lot of animations that I understand cinematically, but which become annoying after the first times when all I want to keep going to hopefully be able to try what I want to try on this iteration. Examples are the animation when approaching the house, the animation when picking up objects, the really long delays sometimes when interacting with terminals especially when connecting to the network. There are also requirements on the rooms like the connectivity to the boiler room that just makes the chances of exploring a specific idea on a run very unlikely. Maybe something will be explained later that helps me mitigate these issues, but with the knowledge I have right now it's really detrimental to my enjoyment of the game.

Wow... looking at the reviews here for a free demo makes it obvious why more people don't release demos... It's a very cozy game, it has a lot of potential, and I absolutely recommend you to try the demo.

My opinion of this game gets better the more I play it. It's pointless fun, that subtly turns into a story. The controls are awful, until you get used to them and they start feeling really good.

What hasn't changed is that the game is stable, plays well without stuttering or lags.

I've also loved the art style from the first time I saw it. Sometimes it gets really cluttered, but that's more of a gameplay issue than an art style issue.

There's a lot of potential here, but in a world where every step counts the lag unfortunately breaks it to the point where I can't recommend it. I would love if you could add LAN mode or direct IP connection, as I think that would greatly improve game play with relatively nearby friends. Please don't let the fear of piracy make your game a worse experience for paying customers.

Blizzard is the only game studio who manages to create games which are so bad that they destroy another game in the process. They did so with Warcraft 3: Reforged, and they did so with Overwatch 2. I really enjoyed Overwatch, the game I actually paid for, even though it was arguably the game responsible for loot boxes in full price games. Blizzard had a problem, though, since they had promised that there would be no locked characters in Overwatch. The solution, of course, was to release a fake sequel, which would allow them to make the monetization even worse. I did try it via Battle.net, just hoping that some of the Overwatch 1 joy would still be there, but in vain. To Activision Blizzard I say that I, much like your employees, am sick of your abuse.

A very nice and relaxing puzzle game, with an interesting and entertaining (albeit thin) story.

It's absolutely amazing. For a puzzle game, I was surprised that I only felt challenged twice through the hole game, but I was never bored. The game was a very nice, relaxing, and interesting experience. I strongly recommend this.
