I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don’t plan it, don’t wait for it, just let it happen. It could be a new shirt in a men’s store, a cat nap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee.

Following a dream I had three years ago, I have become deeply moved by the plight of the Tibetan people, and have been filled with a desire to help them. I also awoke from the same dream realizing that I had subconsciously gained knowledge of a deductive technique, involving mind-body coordination operating hand-in-hand with the deepest level of intuition

A man who has blown all his options can't afford the luxury of changing his ways. He has to capitalize on whatever he has left, and he can't afford to admit — no matter how often he's reminded of it — that every day of his life takes him farther and farther down a blind alley...

Me: "I wish I had never taken this class. I wish there was no final exam."

Gandalf: "So do all students who enrolled in this course. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what we do with the course material that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, besides school. Students were meant to take the test. In which case, you were also meant to pass it. And that is an encouraging thought."
