While it doesn't have as many levels as its predecessor (12 levels whereas the first game had 15) and there's nothing wrong with the charming art style of the previous game, the more realistic visuals and the new mechanics make Escape Simulator 2 feel like a darker yet more immersive experience.

Despite its rocky launch the game has come a pretty long way; sure there's still bugs and I do understand that it might not be everyone's cup of tea but there's still fun to be had, whether it's exploring, camp building (which sadly can sometimes still be frustrating sometimes) or running events with other players. There's no need to be intimidated by higher level players either as overall the community is very welcoming and just wanting to share their love for the franchise!

A pretty amazing game for its time with fun physics, great writing and graphics that still hold up pretty well 20 years later, now with Steam Workshop support!

A beautiful, relaxing puzzle game in which you give grey, post-apocalyptic scenery back to nature.

It's alright I guess

Orwell knew how to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time; it didn't take long before I was fully immersed and forgot about all of the stuff I had planned to do for the day...

... But it was totally worth it.
