The anti-cheat rootkit (nProtect Gameguard) refuses to let me even launch the game sometimes. It seemed to be a false-positive originating from Corsair firmware and is a semi-known issue and has been known for several years based on bug reports. I decided to just get a new mouse so I didn't have to deal with it, but Gameguard still acts up occasionally.

But now, PSN. Go away Sony. My information is already in enough data breaches.

Update:
Back to frolicking under the warm glow of managed democracy. Sony thankfully listened to the stink and reversed course. Cautiously optimistic for the future of the game again.
