Planetside has always been a great FPS where the player is able to pick their role in a Small squad, a medium sized platoon, or a giant one with over 60+ players involved in a coordinated effort to take control of an outpost in an all out non-stop battle to take over a continent.

I would recommend this game to any gamer, serious or casual. There are a multitude of varying facets that can help be the deciding factor in this 3 faction war game. If you aren't the type of player who likes to run and gun, you can choose from a variety of vehicles at your disposal. There are tanks, light and heavy, a small ATV which you can equip with a gun on the front, or if you're the kind of player who would rather drive around at exceptional speeds delivering small payloads there is a vehicle for that as well.

Planetside has a very unique platform where other FPS' can only hope to have success in operating from. Planetside's UI is extremely easy to use, and the community is very helpful. The game offers so many different ways to assist your Faction in domination it's hard to pick one to specialize in. The game operates like most mmos where every kill yields experience which you can allocate through the Certification system to increase your usefulness in the extensive player-player combat battles. You are able to take to the Sky, land, or Water on the newest continent. There are thousands of achievements that reward you with experience, certification points, and sometimes cosmetic items, or a new gun/weapon for a vehicle.

The game really does have a-lot of opportunity for each player and every playstyle. If you're not much of a fan of combat, you can farm some of the raw materials scattered around the map using one of the vehicles, (ANT) and help by creating a forward operating base, or a defensive position.

Overall this game is fantastic, although it only says i have 140 hours on steam, I have 3 80+ characters. which doesn't seem very hard to get but it is rather time consuming at times depending on which route suits your playstyle. Give the game a try, it's FTP and by no means is it Pay2Win. Most of the guns are extremely well balanced except for a few you can ONLY unlock through completion of directives, and cannot be purchased with money. Goodluck and have fun!

For the Survival junkie like myself; someone who is looking for an in depth survival game with extreme detail pertaining to character health, nutritional needs, and overall realism when it comes to surviving. SCUM does not disappoint when it comes to the sheer brutality of surviving in a post apocalyptic world, where the environment you need to live in, wants nothing more than to screw you over. When it comes down to it, i believe SCUM is a bit more detailed and developed version of DAYZ with quite a bit more bells and whistles that will hold your attention. AI seems to work very well, however I will say on higher popped servers - anything over 70-80 players, the cars and animals seem a bit wonky at times. Other than a few other learning curves in the game, this game is quite challenging, and fun. Lots of different things to do, places to loot, and occasionally. People to shoot. all in all a solid game for anyone looking for a change of pace, a new environment to explore, and overall just a new experience on a game that is very well developed.

Definitely a Hard Core survival experience. Different from any other survival game in the sense that it will lure you in with its environmental beauty, eloquent sounds of the forest, weather. Gunshots in the distance are quite realistic; play with caution. This game often makes the user lose him or herself in the long journey that lays ahead, and somehow we become unaware of the other players in the world. Don't be surprised if you get the ♥♥♥♥ scared out of you.

I checked yes on the Recommended and here's why -

This game has an incredible amount of potential; based on what is currently available in the game - I would say the average gamer should be able to get to about 300-400 hours of playtime before they reach the End of Progressive content that is currently available in the game.

That being said - I made it about 200 hours before I was spent on the game, we reached the final boss and received placeholder items meaning there was no more content left to unlock.

I had tamed/bred over 200 boars, tamed 8 LOX, Tamed/bred over 100 wolves, and grew and cloned well over 4000 crops.

This game is a great gaming experience for all who want to endure discovery at a snails pace (IF YOU'RE SOLO)
My advice ... DONT USE WIKI. Don't use any sort of outside information, for it will drastically take away from the beautiful experience that most games lack now. Discovery. The opportunity to challenge yourself with what you're given in order to figure out an enemies weakness, how to navigate through a seemingly treacherous sea, or just how to manipulate terrain without the help of guides.

Valheim offers a different experience for every player - If you like PVE there's plenty of it. If you like PVP I wouldn't suggest this game at all - You WILL get bored, there is no current server that can support more than 4 or 5 people with a dense world that has MANY entities placed by players. For instance - when we were going to kill the 4th boss - we invited a few more people to come with us, originally we were 3 - and after they all logged in , we were 7 or 8 deep. The server could not handle it. The enemies were rubber banding everywhere, loot was getting thrown into the stratosphere, invisible mobs were killing us and if you got into a boat FORGET ABOUT IT.... Until they work on some of the Net coding - and multiplayer support (Supports up to 10 people) Sure you can have 10 people... but, It may be a bit treacherous at times. Sometimes we were lucky and the game worked fine with more than 5 - but most of the time it was horrid.

Overall - the game itself is very well done for an Early Access game, and it has quite a bit of potential, and the developers have their work cut out for them. There is a lot of expectation within the community, but these guys know what they are doing. Hopefully they can deliver.

Highly recommend for any gamer. The game is dynamic in the range of play style whether it is a creative one, or one revolving around strictly pvp. I highly recommend playing the game with a group of friends to improve your gameplay experience. Do not trust other players whom you are not acquainted with, and use extreme caution when trading with other players in the game. There is a serious learning curve when it comes to rust, recoil on the weaponry is admirably intimidating, Rust offers its' players a harsh post-apocalyptic environment to delve into. There is a fair amount of grinding involved, but the grind can be reduced in extremeness with the help of a group of loyal friends. I've been playing with 3 guys I met on the game for about 3 years now, and it's an incredible experience to hone your skills on an extremely difficult video game with a loyal group of friends.
