Highly recommend for those who don't want to do the work of modding the game themselves, but LOVE the game mechanics. Playing as the bosses has been some of the most fun I've ever had in this game, and I've even won a few runs with battling the heart on my first attempt. It's still challenging, and I think the mechanics are brilliant. Excited to keep pumping hours into this to help my brain wake up in the morning.

Absolutely nuts that one person designed this game. What a solid and rather bugless design. Sure a few things glitch here and there but for a team of ONE PERSON, absolute genius and leaves us wanting more story and lore of these creatures. I love how the game just starts you as working for the company with no clue what's going on until you start playing. It's great. Highly recommend.

If I could write a review entailing how frustrating, exciting, fantastic, and devastating this game has been for me, I would. I'm not articulate enough to conjure up such a review so here's what I will say.

As a gamer: This game has given me some of the most hilarious, happy, sad, hard moments as a solo player, and as a friend. Passing the ball, working on plays with your friends, teaming up with random people after one good game just for them to immediately leave after the first bad one. It's been a wild ride after like 10000 hours.

I've played this game since it was free on ps+ in 2015. I. HAVE. PLAYED. THIS. GAME. FOR. 11 YEARS.
I am champ 3. It is hard to move up without constant training and reflection, along with the willingness to adapt and learn. I work a full time job, and go to college full time. The reason I don't move up is because I don't want too, this is a good skill cap where I am happy to keep playing at.

AS A PARENT. This game will teach your children exactly how to lose. Losing is so hard to handle as a child, and my son (D3-C1) has "nearly" caught up to me in skill level (and surpassed, as far as freestyling/flicks/flip resets go) and he has learned how to work with others, handle frustration, handle how to be alone in unfavorable odds, and how to coordinate with people, oh and the obvious hand eye coordination.

What I didn't expect this game to do was become a blood(money) sucking greed monger like all the other games were. Please understand that in 2015, you could get VALUABLE ITEMS ($25+ real money) in random drops. I remember getting the titanium white octane from a crate and my jaw dropped, I wore it proud for a week and then traded it for many colorful items that are now worthless.

If you want your child to play this, do not connect their financials to it, and for the love of god, don't fall trap to the same cosmetic scam that Fortnite has these kids locked into. Any "Cool" decal with animations will actually slow down your computer/ps5/xbox and doesn't matter to anything as the gameplay is TOO fast paced to even show off something you're wearing. The ONLY thing that is still worth buying with real credits/money would be titanium white zombas. (in my opinion they're one of the most easiest wheels to notice)

I hope this review helps many and understand that I have spent way too much time on this game, but nearly no money.

Despite the game being in alpha early access for what seems to be forever, this game has such a wonderful aspect of replay ability. It keeps me coming back to just mess around and build. It gives you the ability to progress, build whatever you want, and you get skill points and can spec into things! It's super great, I'm loving it. Even now. like 5 years later.
