*** WARNING for players sensitive to motion sickness ***

The game itself seems to be dream come true for Indy fans, but something causes motion sickness for me.
I suspect the head bobbing, which currently can't be disabled.

Maybe this way a dev sees this and they implement the option.

The combat feels just right. It is fast paced, but still manageable for a 49 year old gamer with a controller.

I don't know what witchcraft from the warp the Fatsharks pull, but it feels so good to fight in melee, whip out your gun to shoot a distant elite, then smack a Chaos Spawn on its many tentacles while hack'n'dodgesliding through the horde.

When the game gets going on Heresy or higher, it is like a fever rush. Your natural instincts take over and at the end you wonder how the frak you survived that relentless onslaught.

I don't even care if i lose a match, it was still fun to fight along side my fellow random rejects.

This is peak coop madness and i love it!

Das Spiel hat einen etwas holprigen Einstieg, da die Tutorials nicht jeden Kniff erklären, aber wenn man die Steuerung verinnerlicht hat (das Driften ist immens wichtig!), macht das Spiel und auch jedes der 4 Events richtig Spaß!

Ich konnte mich anfangs mit den Tempo-Rennen nicht wirklich anfreunden, aber irgendwann ist der Knoten geplatzt und ich konnte mir in der B-Liga alle 276 Sterne und sogar die ein oder andere Platin-Medallie holen.
Als Fan von WipeOut, Extreme-G und F-Zero (und auch dem ersten Redout) habe ich hier sehr viel Spaß und kann es jedem Anti-Grav-Fan an's Herz legen.

Nehmt Euch Zeit, guggt ein paar Tutorials zu den Temp-Rennen (zB Redstride auf YouTube), LERNT DAS DRIFTEN und Ihr werdet Euch jede Gold-Medallie krallen!

Despite the performance issues, this game is a masterpiece that shows how to do an open world right. No bloated world with repetetive quests or a panic attack inducing map with countless icons fighting for your attention. Just pure adventure in a giant souls-gameworld that makes your jaw drop hard numerous times.

I really want to like this game, but it lacks something important: difficulty progression.

This game expects you to drive perfectly from the start. It feels like the developers took the perfect lap time for a course, added 1 second and that's how you have to drive. Duels? Loss after 1 mins. I don't even know how to catch up in time. The opponents just accelerate like mad and are gone after the 2nd turn.

The story mode is ok, but bland dialogues and repetive challenges. Sometimes you have to drive 2 ghost matches back to back on the same course.

The dual stick controls are amazing and it feels great. The graphics and music is great too, but it really needs either an EASY MODE or the normal difficulty adjusted for the casual driver who just wants to have some fun instead having to sink in dozens of hours just to perfect each course.

The game features very cheap animation. Scenes are stills with only small spots that are animated like a paper cut out. This feels very uncanny valley. I couldn't stand it and stopped playing after a short time.

I don't know to describe this game any better than WIERD. Did someone playtest this? The music is so loud that you wouldnt understand any of the dialogues, if it werent for the speech bubbles. Dialogue options that dont matter, because the game just tells you to pick another one (chess "riddle"). Strange characters and just pseudo mystery dialogues that are just so offputting. And if you ever wondered if you can mess up controls in a point & click adventure, play this one.

I've been playing Evolve since launch casually for about 114h. It is an interesting game, it is a fun game. Yes, Evolve has issues. But i still keep coming back, because it is a unique experience.

There are still bugs that are quite annoying, especially for Behemoth. But nothing that can't be fixed.

The playerbase is quite low on PC. That can only fixed by YOU playing the game.

I don't agree with the negative reviews about the DLCs. What you get has been clearly communicated and no one forces you to buy DLC to continue playing with your friends. New maps and new game modes are free in contrast to other games. And the 12 hunters and 3 monsters you get are more than enough to have a lot of fun. New characters are not op by design and get adjusted as needed.

That said, give it a try, at least when there is a sale ;)

Curses, another roguelike devourer of sparetime. And a very interesting one. DOTE does a great job of putting tower defense, action rpg and strategy together. As with all roguelike games, it takes a while to get the hang of it, but once you get a grip on things, it is great fun und a nice challenge. Get it!
