A game with immense potential and an intense tidal wave of support at the beginning, Fall Guys ended up being one of the biggest disappointments in gaming for me.

The game simply doesn't have enough going for it. Updates are not made frequently enough, essentially killing the game. No, the game isn't dead, but neither is it fulfilling the potential it always had. This game settled for a repetitious cycle of the same levels, some that simply suck. The game could've been an incredibly fun and timeless game that I know I would use as my unwind game after a long day of ♥♥♥♥.

I understand that the devs didn't want to go towards a direction of procedural generated maps that kept the game fresh. The devs wanted this to be more of a kids game, opting to not include any sort of workshop support or even using your original steam names.

In the end, I am not the dev for this game and that is fine. It's fine that they chose to make the game the way they did. But that being said, the devs needed to make content more frequently. Instead, underwhelming updates take months to release. Perhaps its a COVID thing. After all, COVID slowed all game studios down and here I am waiting for elden ring.

TLDR: I think this game has a lot of potential in which devs never utilized and instead wasted away.

This certainly is a great experience and at $30, I would consider this a must buy. However, beyond all the praise for its "full immersion" with all the fancy physics, there are moments of extreme discomfort and unpleasant glitches. I'd say the physics is certainly a dual edged blade. On one hand it provides gameplay I have never seen before (it goes beyond half life in some aspects). On the other hand, it provides intense motion sickness from your physics body just glitching into fences and wobbling around as if it was a gelatinous blob from the movie Flubber.

Essentially its one of those great anime dating games where you experience very unique personalities. It has tons of replayability too!
