Should you buy this game?

If you're already a Horizon diehard, stop reading and just buy it. Your garage misses you.

If you're a casual gamer who's curious what the racing hype is about, yes. This is probably the best "I don't take this too seriously but damn this is fun" racing game you can get right now.

But let's talk to the people stuck in the middle, the ones who played Forza Horizon 5 and went "…is that it?"
Forza Horizon 6 looked at its predecessor’s empty map and boring story and said “skill issue.” Then it dropped us in Japan and cooked. The map is genuinely stunning. Proper valleys, farmlands, tiny roads, and one actual living, breathing city that doesn’t feel like it was built out of cardboard and good intentions. It’s easily one of the best open worlds in any racing game… maybe even any game.

And finally... Toyotas. Actual multiple Toyotas. No more “we added one Supra and called it Japanese representation.” You get to hoon proper Japanese engineering marvels in the country that made them. Your inner car weeb is finally being fed.

The new UI is also a massive upgrade. Horizon 5’s menu looked like it was designed by someone who actively hates joy and minimalism. This one is clean, simple, and doesn’t make you want to throw your controller.

Music? 10/10. Those high-pitched Japanese bangers you don’t understand but somehow perfectly vibe with while powersliding a Supra at sunset. You’ll be humming them in the shower later and have zero regrets.
Bottom line:

If you like cars, Japan, beautiful scenery, or just drifting while pretending you understand the lyrics: GET IT.
If you’re looking for a competitive tactical shooter… my brother in Christ, why are you even here?

This is an excellent simulator game. It offers satisfying progression—you gradually unlock and upgrade new workshops, which keeps the core game loop fresh and engaging. The mechanics are simple yet surprisingly polished, and the graphics are solid for the genre.

Overall, it's a great little game. Definitely not AAA, but far from the low-effort, bug-ridden early access titles that flood the market.

It genuinely gave me the same feeling as those random games I'd grab from the local game store back in the day: I'd bring home a CD, spend a couple of hours installing it, and then lose countless hours to a title that would later become a beloved nostalgia gem. This game captures that exact vibe.
One small criticism: I really wish it had co-op. With multiplayer, this would easily stand shoulder-to-shoulder with big hits like PowerWash Simulator.

Highly recommended!

Love this RTS. If you are fan of Warthunder, Hell Let Loose, and other WW2 gems - this game is for you. I think it's the best WW2 RTS we have to date. Multiple game modes, amazing sound and graphics, top level physics and many other things that make this game awesome!

If it's on sale, get all the DLCs :)

If COD had soul

Joking aside, this is a fun game that triggers a weird nostalgic feeling. If you’ve played PointBlank before, the shooting mechanics and movement speed feel very similar. Gun modifications and the store resemble COD 2019, and the addition of parkour feels awesome.

To the devs: great job! Please consider adding some big game modes if possible, like 16 vs 16 zone control or 8 vs 8 (if game engine will struggle to handle 16 vs 16).

Pros:
Finally triple A game that feels and plays like triple A game.
Amazing graphics.
Interesting story and characters.
Surprisingly good level design!

Cons:
The PC requirements for it are insane, since not many players have high end systems.

Overall, one of my favorite discoveries. Brought me back to my childhood years when playing a game was a discovery and adventure. It is a shame that many games today are copy paste experiences.

UPDATE:

Can't remove your friend's character from the party after they leave. I hope developers will fix it if it's a bug. Otherwise, poor game design choice... - FIXED

10/10 game. Got it on Steam and PS5. Unlike Diablo 4, MW2, Starfield, and other triple-A disappointments, this game is innovative, and engaging and makes gaming exciting. Definitely a game of the year!

If you want a good shooter - you got it here.

For new players: enjoy playing as a rifleman - this is the most versatile class in game. Try all the guns, don't run with the same one. You will enjoy a variety of gun-play this game provides.

For social players: this game has voip: scream at your enemies when you push the point, they will hear it :)

For not so social players - this game has solo play as well.

For players who like the challenge - play hardcore co-op :)

Yeah, I like this game. Keep returning to it every few month since it came out. Sending respect to devs for constantly adding free content.
