I'll state this by saying I only played on PC and my specs aren't the best.
Despite of that, I can run this game at medium to high/max, mixed settings. This gives around 78-140fps native in various sections in the game.

The game does fine as a Resident Evil story with a retcon that some may or may not find enjoyable. The game is divided into a Grace section and Leon section. Most of Grace's sections are in the beginning of the game and Leon's major section is in the middle of the game and end. There is some sections in between where they switch on and off in the beginning and end of the game. Grace's section relies mostly on survival horror and jump scares, I just call it how I see it.

Leon's section is pretty much pure action horror, with a bit of survival sprinkled in. This doesn't make or break the game, it's basically Resident Evil 4 Leon but a bit stripped down. The middle of the game will absolutely be a break or make for most people as this is Leon's lime light, where he's shines and comes back to Raccoon City. I didn't find it boring, I do think the color is dull, but what can you do? A thermobaric bomb hit the city and it's been dead for 20+ years.

With that being said, it's still Resident Evil, but with more emotional impact this time. A few twists that as of right now aren't necessarily answered, that maybe the new DLC coming out will elude to. The music is phenomenal! I suggest anyone who truly enjoys Resident Evil to make sure you can hear the music properly with the emotional impact from the story telling and acting. It's a game that isn't necessarily hard either but is challenging? Insanity mode is hard and can be completed without unlockables, it mostly requires you to save ammo and use your injector in strategic times. The normal mode, is fine. I would suggest people do insanity at least once, but know that unlockables do make the game cheese and easy. Overall this is easily a 9/10. Without going into spoilers and a few gameplay changes that were un-necessary, it could be a 10/10.

Highly recommend especially if you enjoyed all the Remakes so far. You don't really need to know the past games story which is nice of Capcom to do this, but it's recommended to have at least watched them if not, play them as things will make much more sense.

Early Access Review
Very good game play loop. However, this game needs more mix matching of equipment, specifically the defense gear, not the attack gear. It also has certain things locked/greyed out that can't be accessed. Not sure if this is because of early access or I haven't got far enough into the game yet?

Lots of characters to choose from which is great. Again however.. nothing is told to you, so you have no idea what their weakness is or how they'll operate. It's very vague information. Some of the trees aren't very helpful, but perhaps that's because it's kinda messy. The levels are okay, the ones I've played. It's a game play loop game, so you're gonna see the same stuff over and over. Monster design, I do wish they had included more. How many monsters slain, there is a character or an ability I forget which, you need to kill 1,000 monsters per to activate or receive a permanent buff.

Great game and it's early access. 8/10

Early Access Review
Can't even play it. Crashing, settings won't configure, constant stuttering when I do get in. Terrible game. State of Decay 2 and Resident Evil play better. I love indie games but come on.. why is this title so terrible to run?

I'd like to start off by saying this game is a buggy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess, it's un-optimized and has tons of issues. However if you can look past that, it's a good game that slowly starts to get repetitive. The general aspect of surviving when you start is probably the best part of the game, then slowly you start realizing the limitations and how silly some of the mechanics are which kinda hinder the overall playability.

For instance, how can looking at a plague heart cause it to spawn enemies? Shouldn't hitting it first cause the spawning?
Breaking glass with your gun can alert zombies from time to time, but an ally or enemy does and they don't even bat an eye. YOU ARE CONSTANTLY the TARGET. Anything and everything wants to kill you first, allies are mostly spared. Cars getting shot into another dimension, randomly exploding, hovering or falling through the floor. Zombies spawning in front of you.

You shouldn't let that discourage you though, even though that ♥♥♥♥ sucks, the gameplay is great. Sneaking around, shooting zombies, freeing the map of plague hearts, fighting survivors because they're ♥♥♥♥♥ or wanted your help even though you never said you would. This is why I'd recommend playing -

- Game Difficulty Dread
- Survivor Difficulty Dread
- Map Difficulty Lethal

Those options allow for a more balanced and respected experience that won't make you feel over powered and lose interest. Of course you're free to change it how you like, but personally I feel like these settings are generally the best for overall retention.

So I do recommend the game, 3.5/5. It's a good game, not great or amazing, but it'll fill the micromanaging and zombie survival niche you need for awhile.

So this is an edited version of my original Review which is below. Slowly this game has become severely worse, not sure if it's management or something in between? The most recent update they did, well two specifically. Klabs usually was pretty good about giving us info, like developers comments. But they've recently gotten rid of Chronicle Quests (A source of orbs every month, 50 in total and it took about, I dunno 12 minutes of your day to replenish the fragments) and now have altered Senkaimon (which personally was fine as is. Now they've completely changed it and made it worse. No more 6 star tickets, no more tickets from completing the tower (affiliation 2 is locked, maybe it has tickets). You still get 495 orbs, but the amount of time it takes to order and sort through each floor for each quest for each mission. It's 3 floors, 3 quests and 3 missions. Per quest it's 3 missions, each gimping you, you lose an accessory or a link. Then they add buffs and debuffs you have to use. Per mission you lose 1 accessory, then 2. For another mission you'll lose 1 link, then 2, then 3. Not to mention YOU HAVE TO ENABLE LINKS AND ACCESSORIES if it demands it, to even begin the quest you have to start with 3 accessories or 3 links. Character gets sealed per quest and missions. Each floor is affiliation based, which the first floor is Quincy and Sternritter which are very low and are TYBW exclusive aside from Uryu and Ryuken. So goodluck if you're new!

Last but not least this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time consuming. Compared to how it originally was laid out, just click recent, replay the floor and move on. This requires so many slow ass menus and clicking and removing or adding and changing characters constantly. No one enjoys Senkaimon, if they say they do, they're lying, they just want Orbs like everyone else. It's also difficult, but not because it's hard but because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they pull on you, especially if you don't have the correct unit to use.
3/10 now and I'm probably going to quit. I got Bleach TYBW anime, I'm relatively happy about that. I'm okay with letting this game go now, it's been a long ass 11 years.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Multiplayer -
It sucks, you either have issues with desync, meaning dead mobs are already attacking you and you still get hurt. People have ♥♥♥♥ internet. It will slow down the games room and let the bad connected player progress at the expense of others or the host god forbid has a bad connection, there goes x5 tickets if you cannot beat the room yourself because the host disconnects. You're not playing on klabs servers, it's hosted by us, the people. I try to avoid multiplayer as much as I can, it's not fun because of this.

PVP -
Dead gamemode, it's garbage and cannot be fixed unless klabs does something about it. This is where whales shine, whale will 5/5 the characters they need for pvp (exclusive banners that will eventually re-run) but these transcended characters will destroy any f2p player. At the time of writing, Tsukashima and Jugram are top tier units for pvp and are exclusive. Meaning they only come during re-runs when klabs decides to do so. However if you're determined, PVP does offer rewards based on how well you do that week, via rank. If you're rank is high in Seats, the more rewards, which is usually Brave souls tickets and Brave Battle Medals. Determined on your Seat position, you'll get more or less.

Co-op - Epic Raids - Arena
Co-op yields your Potions/Droplets/Gold/Books All of these can be x5 ticketed with the exception of Inheritance Trials which is a new form of powering up your characters now and X-coop which is Extreme Coop, based on 3rd to 7th Seat PVP. This allows you to get tons of brushes which allow for re-rolls of secondary effects on accessories.

Epic Raids is a very Grind heavy game mode that requires attention 24/7 assuming you plan on fully transcending your characters. Transcending powers up your characters to max to allow for maximum effectiveness in any Co-op mode other than Arena. ER gives you pets/scrolls/orbs/tickets. Each ER run costs 1 Soul Reaper Ticket assuming you complete the run, if you do not win it does not consume the ticket.

Arena is a completely separate game mode that allows you to use any character you want (not recommended). Arena has PVP dominating characters which run Arena, however some sp units are doing very well. You start arena out with either 2 other friends or 2 random people against another team of people however the other team isn't real as far you actually fighting them, it's AI. The way arena works is, both teams are active at the same time but in complete separate matches. It tries to sync points and the timer together for a seamless experience. The objective in arena is to kill the characters and mobs, characters are 200 points each, mobs are 80 each. I won't go into full detail but in order to win you need to get boosts which come from killing everything (completely random) and boxes (again random but percentage based) I think I read 80% for boost and 20% for soul bombs from the boxes. Stat Boosts will give you 30% more stats, making you stronger to fight against the characters you kill over and over. Each character you kill gains levels, they start at +1, each death raises them +1, all the way to +5. max stats and damage. Basically easy one shots, so if you don't have boosts it's game over.
On top of all of that you have soul steal, which the game describes but I'll just say this, soul steal sucks. It's meant for players to get a comeback if they suck. Basically a crutch for people not very good at this game. This also means very extensive and long games at high ranks, Rank 1 to 10. Rank 8-10 get very intense and can last from 3 minutes to 30 minutes, to a full hour. Rank 8 - 10 is full of try hard whales. Arena is fun but it's very rough for people who don't have good characters.

This game has much much more to offer that I never got into and it's great if you wanna experience Bleach as a game with characters you'll never see in the anime such as Machine Society Riruka, she's in a cute bunny steam punk outfit or Chinese New Year Orihime, she uses fan blades to attack you and is in a very tight green dress or Spirit Society Byakuya whose a demon that uses Ice and a Staff in a Kimono.
It's a fun game but the gacha can make you hate yourself. That is the only downside to this game.. just be prepared to save or spend lots of orbs.

7/10.
