Mai was not kidding, the winds of change from Early Access howl CONSISTENTLY here. But it does pay off in the end.
While it may take a bit to adapt to new changes, there is no real punishment to take a few days off other than purchasing supplies (or their availability).

Make no mistake. In spite of the constant changes and the game still being in Early Access, the team has been quick on picking up several bug reports. The experience itself has been rather pleasant as a whole as the development unfolds over the course of the months. It's been a couple of years for me at this point.

Meanwhile, at least as far as this review is being written, I'm hopeful they tie seasonal events to the in-game calendar at some point... Instead of the real one (Glad to see that some of the devteam has acknowledged this in the forums, we'll eventually get it). There is already seasonal foraging and weather has been further refined since the farming overhaul (sprinklers we now have in 3x3 and 5x3 as of the current mines update, pending 7x3 tiles size coming up in later updates).

The true successor to the Descent franchise.
