Love the game to death and would probably be playing it daily, if not for the horrendous performance the game has.

Until that is fixed, cannot recommend the game on PC.

(Especially because one of my friends who grinded World with me cannot play Wilds, because his performance is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worse.)

FIx the performance.

The Edition is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great.

Edit: The EA App is nor mandatory and you can't play the Edition throught Origin, thus you can't unlock Achievements for Mass Effect 2 and 3. So i'll never be able to 100% this game.
♥♥♥♥ EA.

But you won't get achievements when using the "new" EA app in Mass Effect 2 & 3.
It works if you're using Origin but when you start Mass Effect in Origin it automatically deletes itself and redownloads the broken EA App.

So, you can't unlock achievements for 2 thirds of the game. Very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice for someone who wants to 100% the game.
♥♥♥♥ EA.

Good gameplay, good campaign, good side activities, nice DLCs.

Would buy again. hf.

I bought the Deluxe Edition for 18€ in the 2022 Summer sale. It includes:
the base game,
"Operation Eagle" DLC,
"Rusviet Revolution" DLC.

First of all, i suck at RTS-games and i played on easy, also my strategy is mostly to bunker down first and then run over the enemy with fancy-cool mechs.
The base game consists of 3 factions and their campaigns. Polania, Rusviet and Saxony. All campaigns have at least 6 missions.
A "World Map" Mode which is basically the story mode of Dawn of War: Dark Crusade (also go play that), big map with multiple faction trying to conquer a planet/Continent. I just tested it for about 5min to see how it works.
Multiplayer is also there, but i don't want to play MP so i can't say anything about that.
And "Missions" - those include Skirmish mission, normal quick matches against AI, 48 campaign mission with different modes like escort, defense, or destroy on i think either unique or multiplayer maps; the last thing is Challenges which is selfexplanetory.

The Operation Eagle introduces a new faction (Usonia) with a campaign to continue the base game story, but also introduces new units. Additionally flying units are available for other factions.
Rusviet Revolution does not introduce new units but it continues the base game story with 4 missions, where the whole Story will end.

It's the normal RTS control as everyone knows it who is familiar with the genre, but one mechanic, the reverse-move is such a nice thought. If you hit the mechs in the rear they receive extra damage, but you can reverse-move with the Mechs to let them walk backwards. I never saw this mechanic in any of the few RTS games i played, i actually used it alot.
All units can gain EXP by dealing or receiving damage to increase it's veterancy rank, there are elite and veteran. The ranks provide more health for the unit and sometimes give a unit an ability.

Basebuilding is very simple, There are 3(+1) buildings for units.
The HQ produces resources and is able to train engineers and normal soldier,
the Barracks produces all kinds of Infantry: Soldiers, Engineers, Grenadiers, Anti-Mech Gunners, Flamethrower-Squad,Exosuit units and Soldiers with Weapons Systems such as Heavy Machine Guns, Field Cannons and Mortars.
The Workshop produces all mechs.
All factions have access to these building.
The Usonia faction also has an fourth buildung - the Battle Tent, which supplies campaign-related units.
You can upgrade Workshop and Barracks to get access to better units from the building respectively, it also increases the Army cap size once.
Engineers have the ability to repair mechs and Exosuits, to builds faction-based defensive Structures such as Bunkers and Sandbags for Cover, Barbwire to deny enemy access and mines to make enemy go boom. Medics can heal all infantry and themselves.

The mechs have a interesting design (the devs do like legs) and their animations are sexy and top-notch; they were the reason why i wanted to play this game and they did not dissapoint.
There are Hero units. And honestly, some of them are just outright OP with the dmg output, but i would have wished if the hero units would have a seperate Icon on the HUD for the Hero's alone, especially for the mission where you have 5 Heros, because you can only see 10 Units of your army without interacting with the HUD.
I personally think i had my most fun with the Usonian Mechs, but i wont spoil them. Knox and Attucks are lit.
I can only recommend the Operation Eagle DLC, the new Units are generally cool and a nice addition and the campaign missions are unique.
Rusviet Revolution is just 4 mission and if you're not interested to continue the story you can pass that one.

I had a few problems with the game, in a few mission no matter what graphic preset i set, i never got more than 50FPS, even with a 3070TI and R9 5900x.
The cutscenes are... weird to be honest, my first thought was that they're just outright ugly but i kind of got used to them, still a weird vibe.

I enjoyed the game. I played throught all 5 Campaigns, i skipped one mission because it was a stealth one (after i lost i had the chance to "skip mission) The mechs are awesome, infantry is also useful but they're not mechs, the graphic is good, other than a few mission with the problem stated above i had no problem with performance.
I would even play the sequel the way the campaign ended, and for the hopes of new mechs.

Would only recommend if on sale for about 15 - 20€.
Overall pretty meh.
As many of the other reviews mentioned the atmosphere and the maps you travel throught are awesome, excellent and look very good. As an W40K Lore fan i can approve.

You can complete the campaign in about 8 hours, if you know what you're doing in about 5.
The story is...i don't know, i skipped every cutscene and dialogue because i had no interest after the first 2 mission.
Some dude named Kal Jerico employs you to do various tasks, many gangs also exist and there is someone named Shadow. And you're chasing the Silver Talon.

You can upgrade yourself and your little doggo. (you can pet him in the hub) All of that costs credits, you gain those when doing campaign missions and secondary mission which you unlock after the first campaign mission.
The campaign missions consist of killing all enemies in an area, pressing a button to get to the next area to kill all enemies.
Or to find batteries in order to get to the buttons which leads you to the next area to kill enemies in said area, so nothin' fancy.
Already in the second mission you get a Ogryn presented which is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bulletsponge. Like dumping 5 magazines into him.
In the forth mission you get the next bulletsponge enemy.
The i think 3-4 bosses are just normal enemies you encounter throughout your playthrought with an enormous amount of health. Expect Shadow because he uses a melee weapon, but he also has an enormous amount of health - just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bulletsponges without any mechanic other than SHOOT HIM/HER.

Secondary mission are optional, but the only way to get credits outside the campaign. There are 3 types of secondary missions. B, A and S. These mission have different modes, like kill leaders, save hostages, get meat, destroy equipment - etc.
The secondary missions are the only reason why i almost have 18 hour in the game. I most likely spent 8-10 hours, maybe even more in them to farm credits to upgrade myself and my little doggie to the maximum, which is needed because the enemies DEAL ALOT OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DAMAGE. And sometimes don't spawn
There is no way to gain health other than executing enemies or using your medkits which are limited to 3 throughout a whole mission. You also have a shield, but that does not regenerate after a while out of combat, you need to collect cells to charge it.
Sadly, in normal some enemies can straight up oneshot you. It is possible to revive yourself using Stimms but these are also limited to 3 per mission.
I run the save Hostage mission on the second mission's map, you can ignore all enemies and save all 5 hostage and get about 5K in B rank. After some upgrades and a few more campaign missions i repeated that in Rank A.
I know where the chests are to open them which gives more credits and have upgrade the "Vocal Implant" Tree to the fullest to get 120% more credits. Easy 40 - 50K each run. I don't mind farming and repeating monotous things again and again but i think most people won't like doing that for like 10 hours.

Weapons are cool but i didn't test everyone. DEATH BRINGER is op tho.

To summaries, i didn't follow the story, campaign is short, maps are sexy, gunplay is good, enemies spawn rate is unbalanced and they deal way too much damage, many bulletsponges, health and shield systems are not enjoyable, you can pet your dog and also upgrade him so much, that he does not resemble a dog anymore.

Had fun, buy on sale.

Writing this review cause of the Steam Awards, duh.
Much boom boom like in the former Game, but this time explosions are not a requirement to conquer Outposts/Bases, which is a bummer.
A VERY big open World map which makes no sense, because a Jungle area ends in a Desert etc.
Cool weapons with new second modes and the Hook can be upgraded with naice upgrades but personally i'm missing the mods from JC3.
Story is non-existent.
And - never played the DLCs, but i will. I promise.
Buy it in sale or Just Cause 3 with all DLCs.
Played the DLC January this year. (2021)
All in all, the expansion pass is not worth.
First 2 DLCs are just not good.
Last one's kinda fine i guess?

Just play Just Cause 3 with all its DLCs.

Good day.
