A little bit of a mixed bag, but overall the new divisions are interesting. You may not like all 10 of them or even 5 of them, but there's a good chance you will like 1 or 2 and that's worth it. Specifically 25ya, 4dyw, 16de, and MNAD offer new playstyles not really present. The only real lame duck is the Dutch 4e, more interesting divisions like rugener please!!

The best complete Monkey Island package, not sabotaged by Ron Gilbert in any way. Monkey Kombat is bad, crashes happen, H.T. bugged for me and lost me like 2 hours of progress, and the movement is bad. But what you get is a nice solid game with the best ending of all of the Monkey Island Games

Some ridiculous puzzles, recommend a full walk-through from start to finish. Awesome? No, but a good game.

Better than the first, but they replaced Nina's perfect voice actor. She now sounds like a Lifetime B movie actress

This game is essentially Germany's Metal Gear Solid 2 with Nina acting as an autistic version of Raiden. The game has hints of Monkey Island mixed in and a little pinch of Metal Gear Solid 3 at the end just as a little nod to adventure kino enthusiasts.

Very good sets of games for puzzle/escape room fans. Story is pretty good. VLR is puzzle heavy whereas 999 is a bit more of a murder thriller.

VLR is LONG, though. Haven't beat the last game.

I got all achievements on a different account. Great arcade game, overall just a good pick up and play game and a bit addicting.

Achievements are also tracked well, some of the best handled achievements in terms of updating the player on their progress. This game would work well in any arcade, works great on a stick too.

Ongoing review:
Overall the porting is very good, the sound and controls work perfectly. The introduction of save states really helps to not waste players' time. Achievements are reasonable.

CotM: 8/10
The DSS system ends up kind of trivializing the experience with summons and post-boss can be a real pain, as you often need to backtrack on low health (save states fix this). However the combat, enemies, and bosses are exactly what you'd expect for Castlevania and it's an enjoyable experience overall. Expect about 25-35 hours for all achievements. Difficulty relies on your level and not so much the enemy patterns, but overall it's challenging.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, dialogue-intensive, mind-blowing game with a serious punch in the face revelation at the end you won't find it with All Our Asias. Instead, the game is about a more realistic series of events that never seem to satisfy, ending up with a relatively inconclusive ending. This makes it much easier to sympathize with the main character and leaves the player reflecting on their own life much more heavily than a more crafted, fantastical journey.

The environments and music are awesome, and really drive the desire to progress in the game. While the game is about Asians, anybody can empathize with the overarching concept of identity crisis with a dash of class divide. I wouldn't say the game necessarily teaches or reveals anything of any merit, rather it brings up the topics and lets the player mull around with it themselves, because the topics explored are too controversial and inherent in everyone to really be given an answer to without seeming contrived. The only 'lesson' in the game I would say seems to be more of an obvious answer told by society, but there is still much to be explored beyond that.

I would like to see the author tackle the violent and chaotic nature of the core game further down the line.

Game has come a long way. Balance is still being tweaked but at this time it's probably worth jumping over to it from Red Dragon.
