The game is still in alpha and changes with every update, currently, everyone is pigeonholed into rng scavenging to progress, and is super linear. Food and water have been made incredibly tedious instead of challenging. Devs need to seriously look at the community's vision for the game instead of their own which changes every time they wake up in the morning.
