This game has a laundry list of very valid criticism from me, but it can all be summarized unto one: The developers have an obsession with making the game difficult and frustrating, rather than challenging and fun. You can see this same idiotic mindset in their previous game as well.

Awful performance, boring and repetitive combat, obnoxious gathering-crafting and inventory management... This game repeats the same mistakes that dozens of games that came before it did. There's some good in it, potential is here, but as of now, at the end of the day, the experience ends up being just another Open World Survival Craft slop

I'm flabbergasted by the amount of positive reviews, as this game is designed to be a repetitive, boring and obnoxious chore. The only reason that makes sense to me as to why it is this popular is its art style and personality. If it wasn't for it, I believe the game would not have the popularity that it does. Well, that and the fact that the Chinese are obsessed with this game, for some reason...

I had an account from trying the game over a year ago, before it even was on Steam. I don't remember its exact password, so after trying it a bunch of times, I reset it and made a new one, but the game still doesn't recognize it. Turns out my account was automatically locked from failing to log in 5 times and now they want me to contact their support. Yeah... I'm just gonna play something else.

This game makes me sad... It had great potential and its quality foundation shows, but unfortunately the game was dead on arrival with little to no attention being received from potential players. The devs ended up losing money making it and thus it was abandoned. Bugfixes, some balancing and other minor stuff that a single programmer can pull off shows up every once in a while, but overall the game isn't fully completed and will probably never be. Considering its state and non-existing future, it original price is unfortunately too high, but if you see this on at least 60% off I certainly recommend.

This game currently has four major flaws: A lack of content/variety, weapons that shoot at the direction you're facing, a messy UI-UX and a lack of balance. However, despite these issues, I frankly believe it is the best survivor out there atm.

This is my personal ranking of the best Survivors, btw:
1 - DRG: Survivor
2 - 20 minutes till dawn
3 - Boneraiser Minions
4 - Halls of Torment
5 - Vampire Survivors

This is a great game, but if you're going to play it, make sure you pay attention to your exploration and to the text found in terminals, otherwise you're going to waste a lot of time being lost, which is made specially obnoxious by the map's layout. Also, there are two difficulties: Easy and Normal, but there's nothing "normal" about the latter, so I strongly suggest going with easy instead.
