Sigh... 3rd time buying a DLC of a overwhelmingly negative game that I personally gave a thumbs down review. This is WILD!

I bet this DLC sold out more units than the base game.

Yeah, 40+hrs and still ♥♥♥♥ tier as in un-usable relic rolls. This is not fun. This is just pure stress. This is coming from someone who loved Darksouls 1, TWO!!!, 3, and EldenRing. I never over level my characters on the mainline games (stick to 100) so I'm fine with the level and stat restriction in this game. I also played and loved Hades so I have an idea what a roguelike is. However, on those games there is some kind of progression even a little bit. Even if you get hammered and sent back to your start point you can feel you get better and stronger little by little. Here in Nightrein there is also progression in the form of relics, permanent upgrade you obtain randomly that you can slot to your characters. BUT the utter randomness of the relic effects and the myriad of useless ones is just so painfully broken that every after run where you get rewarded with said random relic, either you win or lose that run, feels so empty. You dont gain anything, just stress and lost 40min+ of your life. If youre a massochist, yeah this game may suit you, this is not for me.

Steam should have a tag "spyware". Changing ToS should not be legal.

The game itself is great, I would actually buy a second copy for my wife once I upgraded her PC.

Holy crap this thing runs like hot garbage even on an RTX 4060ti
I'm not gonna lie, World/Iceborne looks and FEELS a lot better no matter what settings you do here in Wilds.
For an action game that relies on precise inputs, fluctuating FPS and frame gen are a huge NO NO. Good luck timing your Guard Points.
If Capcom wont be fixing this (they probably wont given that DD2 still runs like crap), I'll be running it at 1600x900 medium 30fps from start to expansion just so I can get a stable FPS.

And before you say "Just go buy a PS5"... Dude, console player's eyes are so used to fluctuating fps AND RESOLUTION that they think their console performance is OK. They will have orgasm if you show then side by side gameplay of their console vs a gaming PC.

UPDATE after 300+ hours:
Same,,, Great gameplay, piss poor optimization. Developers should be ashamed of this. Cant even run a stable 55fps at 720p LOWEST settings on a Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 4060ti, 32G Ram, Gen4 NVMe drive. To put things in perspective, I could run Monster Hunter Iceborne at max settings with Cyberpunk high settings Running on a second monitor both at 60fps no frame gen and both games looks HUNDRED TIMES better than Wilds. This will be my last non portable monster hunter game if they dont improve on optimization. Shame on you Capcom.

It would be a blasphemy not to recommend this game. But as with all souls like games, not for the faint of heart.

♥♥♥♥ you Capcom. We bought it, we own it. Now that you people are so petty you patched it to prevent mods you did not even tested said patch if it would break the game on the Steamdeck.

What the hell? IT HAS LAN SKIRMISH MULTIPLAYER! I was holding out from buying it for too long because I thought I cant play it with my brother. -_-
