Season 2 was an easy win for the developers. How could they ♥♥♥♥ it up so badly?

IMPORTANT: Do not buy the Starter Edition. Wait for a sale and get the Standard Edition for -50%. The Starter Edition has insane pricetags for the vanilla operators, so unless you do not mind grinding hundreds of hours with the first four operators you're given, do not buy it. It is comparable to a scam.

Rainbow Six: Siege is a rather competitive First-Person Shooter which has a steep learning curve. If you are new to the shooter genre, or prefer a more arcade/casual experience, this game is not for you. However, if you enjoy hardcore shooters, listening for footsteps and do not mind aiming at a doorway for 3 minutes only to get shot from behind, then this game is for you.

Jokes aside, this game really does require good audio equipment. It is also very easy to die early on in the round if you are unsure of what you're doing. The players will punish you for any mistake you make, and if you're just starting, you are probably going to get your ass handed to you for the next ten hours. Once you get the hang of it though, the game becomes very enjoyable. Killing enemies is very satisfying, but those tense 1v1 moments are probably the peak of the whole match.

TL;DR:But yes, I recommend this game to anyone looking for a fresh FPS experience, as long as you don't mind spending 200 hours figuring out how to kill someone.

The gameplay honestly isn't that bad, but this is not a Dawn of War game. I'd been happy even if this were just a DoW1 remaster.

UPDATE - 1st of June, 2017

With the release of Friday the 13th: The Game, Dead By Daylight stepped up its pace. To my understanding, there have been a lot less crashes, bugs and the overall experience has been improved vastly. Personally I've encountered a few FPS drops here and there as well as animation lag, but there are too few to mention.

If you're a fan of asymmetrical horror gameplay, Dead by Daylight is pulling A-OK right now. If you considered purchasing the game before but decided not to, I can now recommend you to buy
