I have to thank my buddy, Jeff, for introducing me to such a great series. If it wasn't for him, I would have never experienced a beautiful game such as this.

Post-Game Review: Man. What an amazing game. The scares genuinely made me jump at times compared to RE7/RE8. Grace's voice actor is really great at conveying a data analyst working a safe desk job that is eventually forced into a nightmare where she learns to suck up her fears in order to protect the ones she cares for and loves. The theming of this game genuinely felt depressing at times which I will get into in a bit and it got me to tear up at times which games can rarely do. I love the mix of gameplay between Grace and Leon. Grace's gameplay is more akin to the horror-oriented Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7 style which is one of my favorite playstyles where you manage ammo, inventory space, and resources, while Leon's gameplay is more akin to the action-oriented Resident Evil 4 Remake gameplay where he has a parry and a huge briefcase that can carry more items than you can find.

Anyways, minor/major spoilers ahead. Probably won't be a long read but skip this part if you haven't beaten the game and don't want to spoil yourself.

The bad ending of this game genuinely got me to tear up a bit, I know its not canon and all but seeing Leon become so vulnerable and weak due to the infection and then being killed by Zeno/Wesker 2.0 just made me stare at the screen for a bit. Also hearing the RPD music play when you first arrive to RPD as Leon was so exciting, especially seeing my G.O.A.T. Mr. X return as a boss with most of his moves from RE2 Remake being reused and even some being reanimated due to the introduction of the parrying mechanic. Also seeing Spencer again since RE5 (not counting Resistance) and seeing his interview with Alyssa Ashcroft where he genuinely felt remorse for his creation of bioweapons by creating Elpis and also giving Alyssa, Grace, was emotional.


As stated before, Leon and Grace's VA do an amazing job at setting the tone of the game, while Leon is still doing his jokes, Nick does a great job of making him sound tired and on the verge of death as the game goes on. Angela does an amazing job at making Grace sound terrified and worried about everything that is happening to her. While I do love Ethan as a character in RE7 and RE8, it was a bit weird to see how fast he adapted to the horrors around him in just a couple of minutes.

This game definitely has some flaws, but overall it is an amazing experience that everyone should be able to... well experience. This is in my top 5 RE games for sure.

This game is so good, I hope we get a sequel. Everything about this game flows with charm which culminates together into a pile of sweet, visual goodness. Despite this game being hard, I've never felt that the game spewed out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... Well except for Dr. Kahl's robot but that mostly comes from the foreground obscuring the screen at the worst opportune time. The DLC, despite being short, has some of the most fun and engaging bosses ever and it was well worth the wait. They ooze charm and the animation is beautiful to look at, its basically visual candy packaged with an amazing soundtrack.

I feel as if this game becomes completely different depending on whether or not you're playing by yourself or with your friends.

With friends its hilarious and my favorite part is climbing up the mountain only to hear the screams of a companion echo from the distance and then seeing them pop up as a ghost in front of your face going: "I died".

In solo however, the game does a 180 and goes from being hilarious to a very relaxing (or raging depending on how you play it) experience. Climbing the mountains and hearing the ambiance occasionally play during the climbs helps relax the tension. (especially the Alpine level, its very nice).

Overall, I'd say that for the price it gives, it is very much worth it. Its fun, simple, and doesn't really require you to become more focused as opposed to games such as Lethal Company, Content Warning, R.E.P.O., etc.

4 levels in and I already know this game is a banger.

The horror that comes with this pack is spending 5 dollars for 2 of the worst people on the planet to be included in your game just to get the weapons and skill tree that are included.

World of Goo, how I missed you so much.

This game is honestly hilarious and I got to make my streamer friend lose brain cells so 10/10.

This game is honestly pretty addicting, its satisfying to complete objectives and its even more fun to play with friends. Even without friends, the community is pretty nice and friendly (from my experience) which is funny considering that we murder other innocents(?) for our own freedom.

This game has immersed me so much, that I thought I only played for 4 hours today. It turns out it was 8 hours.

10 dollars for both Doom 1 and 2? I'd say that's a great steal. And they added Achievements so time to replay through both games again :).
