I just love this game. If I could afford it, I would spend the entirety of my life on a Rust server. The Devs have been frequently updating this game since ever. Sometimes I wonder why I have 6000h+ in Counter-Strike and not in Rust. It is just so much more rewarding.

400 hrs later, the game is still constantly progressing. It is amazing how RUST takes away your life and replaces it with the eternal grind that is necessary to overcome your neighbors.

I played CS:S a lot and enjoyed it for years. A solid shooter with the typical CS setting, but in all aspects outdated after the release of CS:GO. I must admit, I have never even missed it since. Therefore, I recommend to choose CS:GO over CS:S, as it is the better Counter-Strike after all. Thanks for all the good times and farewell.

tl;dr:

The game itself is fun to play, but go for CS2 if you have to choose a CS to start with.

Better Hitboxes, direct impacts, less sprays and new weapons.. this game has got a future
