Took everything good about Undertale, improved on it, and became one of my top 10 favorite games of all time.

It's sad that this is what game releases have become over the past 5 years, but don't buy anything until a patch comes out.

Speaking from purely a performance standpoint, I don't understand how I have a 4070 and a 14700k, the game installed on a new NVME SSD, the most recent graphics driver update and BIOS, all my background programs and apps closed, and I'm still getting fps drops and poor graphics quality on mixed settings (textures are at very high with everything else set to high).

Textures look pixelated, which are especially noticeable when looking at anything nature related (leaves, trees, bushes) or Ellie in the mirror. There are these inaccessible "fake rooms" you can spot in Seattle apartment buildings that look like they're straight out of the PS4. I don't know what causes this, but the snow will randomly flash white when riding your horse during the blizzard in Wyoming. All of this just takes the immersion out for me.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but TLOU1 looked immensely better than this. Wait. For. The. Patch.

Some of the graphics are a little disappointing for a "remaster." Silhouettes of people looking like cardboard box cutouts, facial expressions looking frozen or dead, and textures looking pixelated.

There are several annoying minor glitches that ruin the immersion. I've seen subtitles getting cut off or disappearing entirely, lighting bugs with white orbs flashing on one side of the screen, and dialogue not playing or playing twice overlapping each other.

Facial expressions look kind of weird too? Some characters like Victoria look like stiff lifeless dolls. I'm pretty new to this franchise, but maybe check reviews to see if the original version performs better?
