This game is just a big downgrade from earlier titles.

It's super casual and has no depth in multiplayer, and you can't add depth through difficulty settings either.

My review went from YES to NO, to YES again. I'm just happy the game is in a better place now

I really want to love this game, but in it's current state you'll run into so many game-breaking bugs towards the end of the campaign

At the time of writing, 97% out of 109,154 user reviews are positive. I'm not going to waste time convincing you to buy this game. Resounding YES from me.

I wish it stayed at armor for horses

Large arena ARMA with Battlefield/COD controls
(AKA, not nearly as much as you'd have in an actual ARMA game)
All in all streamlined, intense combat. Would recommend

I would recommend the game, but expect a bareboned product as it is. Loads of features are not in the game yet, but the game receives updates multiple times a day (usually). The current intro movie on the steam page and it's screenshots don't represent the product anymore, and not all dinosaurs in it are playable.

Expect a DayZ without any looting, but with hunger and thirst. KoS is common place, and so is cannibalism. If you die, you lose all progression you made with that dino and have to start over as a basic dinosaur. Progression is earned by online play. 1 progression point equals 1 minute in a server, and some dinosaurs take 120 progression points. Expect this game to be a timesink, and if you have the option, play with friends.

All in all, the game is pretty cool except for the punishing nature of it if you die, but this too is a work in progress.
