Campaign is still full of bugs. In the Airborne Assault campaign, I deploy AA, but somehow the enemy still always gets "successful interceptions" when you try to start a tactical battle. Makes no sense.

Still plenty of bugs in the game. For example, tanks shouldn't be focusing on supply trucks, when there is another tank firing at them, lol.

If they fix the bugs, it could be a solid game.

Game still lacks stability, even after many updates. For example, with the latest version 1.9.2, you cannot click on certain tabs, unless you click on specific other tabs beforehand, which just shows how poorly developed and tested Victoria 3 is.

How to reproduce this bug:
1. Click on the market tab, then click on a specific good, such as grain.
2. Click on the first tab, which is labeled "World Market".
3. Try clicking on the second or third tabs, and you will see that you cant.
4. Click on the fourth tab, which is labeled "Applications".
5. Now try clicking on the second second or third tabs again, and you will see that they magically work.

Pretty sure that any automated testing software should have caught that, which just shows how companies have offloaded testing to customers, lol.

Achievements stopped working halfway through the campaign, and I did not get credit for finishing the game. Yet another example of lazy development and testing.

Some basic controls do not work during the game. Passing works, but the player just loses the ball in front of the goalkeeper over and over. Not sure what they did with this version, but it's broken.

Installs shady software in addition to the game itself.

Keeps trying to sell you more stuff, when I am just trying to play single player career mode.

Massive amounts of cheating in this game, left unchecked by the designers.

You queue up for teams, and get put into a team with only half the members.

Why are there no shortcuts for repetitive actions like placing Road Maintenance Decrees?

Lack of shortcuts makes this game tedious. To place the Road Maintenance Decree, you have to click four times. This is something you have to repeat almost every minute as you are playing.

Another example of a game where those who designed it, didn't actually play it.

C&C Generals Zero Hour was the best game in the entire series. Classic example of where core mechanics that are replayable and fun, outweigh the need for resource intensive graphics.

The fact that Heroes of Might and Magic let you use hex grids long before it was cool, should tell you everything you need to know about this classic game. Simple yet complex turn-based strategy with decent music and the best cut scenes they could manage back when it was first made. Campaign is just as much fun as the scenarios.

In my opinion, its a better bang for your buck than newer titles like Civilization VII.
