First person platforming can be fun?

It got great variety and a cool use of FPS weapons in a unique way. The game really ends on a high with the last few missions.

Even if you're not into speedrunning this game slaps.

The natural evolution of deck building games, this is a masterpiece.

Edit: My words will never do this game justice. It's not the best deck builder of all time but it is the best experience available within a deck builder.

Daniel Mullins is pushing video games forward, it's a bright spark that shows it's still possible to be fresh and different amongst a plethora of games (inside and outside the genre). Inscryption is a great game everyone should experience.

If you're into rouge-likes and even slightly interested in JRPGS then this is more than worth the few cents you can pick it up for on sale. It's simple but has enough weapons, classes, loot, skills and perks to keep it interesting. Progression is similar to Rouge Legacy in the way that you unlock things once you die to help your next run. There are some nice little touches with the way it introduces you to the game and recording what you do.

It's a really solid little rouge-like that is way more enjoyable than its generic JRPG screenshots imply.

It's hard to recommend this game. The gameplay is great and way easier to get into than the first one. But the full game just isn't a good deal. You're paying close to full retail for 8 races/teams. Each team feels different but there aren't enough of them in the base game. Then the extra teams are coming out as DLC, which initially wasn't a big deal but it is when they cost $8 each (and the first two were pretty much day 1 DLC). So for 10 teams you're paying full retail at $60 but the game’s lack of content just doesn't warrant that. Not to mention it now has micro transactions that shouldn’t be there.

The campaign is a good way to get familiar with the game and it helps new players learn quite well, albeit slowly. The matchmaking system isn't great if you just want to play a random team, with specific match options. Then new UI is great and the animations are cool but it's just lacking too much content to justify its price (and it's DLC's). Being able to plat a local game is great as playing with someone else on the same PC is really enjoyable.

It’s fun to play and can be picked up by new players that are willing to learn but there isn’t enough here to justify the price. The full game price, day one DLC and micro transactions just shouldn’t be encouraged. I love you blood bowl but you did this to yourself.

It almost feels like something so simple doesn’t deserve to hold your attention for so long, but One Finger Death Punch is one of the most satisfying games I've played. It's so straightforward but never feels that way. The campaign drags on a bit long but by that time you've already got your money's worth. Pressing two buttons has never been so fun.

It's pretty refreshing to play something that is aware it's a video game and doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ what you think about it. It's stylish as all hell, fun to play and doesn't overstay its welcome. The game is on LSD and a good avocation for why you should be too.

10 Second Ninja really is just a puzzle game that requires skil, which makes it doubly satisfying when you find the fastest route and execute it.

This game is all about the 3 stars. If you have no interest in proving that you are a master of each level then consider yourself a pleb and never look at this game again.

It can be hard to justify at full price, but if under $5 it’s worth it if you enjoy platformers that necessitate skill and a bit of thinking at the same time.

It's not the best in the series and the port is way below what it could have been (lighting and textures), but it's still a Soul's game and that's better than 95% of what else is out there, so buy it already.

The quintessential platformer, that has almost unrivalled challenge and depth (it’s not a cheap rage-inducing platformer). It contains so many systems trying to kill you that dying becomes comical. Falling from a ledge, bouncing into an enemy, who then throws you into spikes never gets old, and neither does Spelunky.
