i constantly am finding myself say "Two years and this bug is still a thing?" or "Two years and all they did was add 3 currencies, a battlepass, and change perks?" its got potential but what a way to go about using it. wish i could give a mixed review.

I got into the beta and I couldn't get enjoyment out of any other game for a month after the beta closed. This is hands down the best shooter to me and it feels really fresh. No matter if I do terribly or if I absolutely dominate I have a great time. I uninstalled Overwatch and battle.net/blizzard for this and not looking back.

i dont support micro transactions. its been out for almost 2 years, get over yourselves. terrible business practices

I'm conflicted on this review and heres why!

Honestly i didnt want to start with the bad but it needs to be pointed out first so people get the general idea.
In my 215+ hours (at review time) it has become very apparent that the devs base the updates and fixes off of console play more than they do for PC. At first i didnt see it after my friend mentioned it but after the huge update where they buffed everyone that really didnt need it it was so in your face saying "hey the meta is different on console than it is on PC because we buffed koga and seris" after that i was hit with confusion and just had to at that point come to terms with the idea that they base the changes on console play exclusively.

With that being said its still playable even with the buffs and changes but still there are people that need a nerf on PC and possibly console.

Another huge issue i have with Paladins is it seems they havent really given it the attention it needs/deserves with bug fixes. i know they addressed that they were going to update more often recently so it does give me more hope on this matter. but still there are a lot of small graphical issues and bugs that are minor and not game breaking that should have been scrubbed out months ago like At match end when you level up a season pass and click "close" and it replays the audio and pops the screen up again or like the small void/hole in the default Seris skin in her chest or my favorite when you earn rewards in a pop up screen for you to equip and nothing you do works so you have to sometimes close out of the game and restart it.

The Bounty tokens never worked for me so i reached out to them via twitter and got no response but instead was shocked to see they instead made an event for tokens a couple days after i reached out. On their twitter update everyone complained saying it doesnt work for them and if it does work the skins they bought just get taken away randomly. I recently was able to finally get tokens but now they are revamping it which is good. However they seem to not be aware it never really worked because they think everyone loves it when it never really worked on PC to begin with for me or a few friends.

Honestly i do like Paladins i really do. Paladins has a lot of potential and a really nice range of different characters. I see this game only getting better with more updates/changes. i personally prefer this instead of its "competitor" and will continue playing this often. im really looking forward to see what kind of direction Paladins will take.

They need to look towards the real problems in this game not cease and desist
