Yum.

Combat is very fun. Deserves significantly more popularity as it is a solid Souls-like game.
Also the Co-Op is pretty seamless, so it's easy to go through the game with a friend.
Not an open world though. You have to load into missions, which is a small downside.

Ending had me in tears.

My friend really doesn't like this game. He told me to rate it negative.

I cannot game with my friend anymore! It broken! I am left so sad!

I haven't gotten very far in 4 hours, I'm still trying to kill this dragon dude at the start. I will not cease!

Requires diligence to get through the game the first time, but offers great replayability. What used to be a boss you died to 20 times becomes a boss you die to twice.
Never played previous Dark Souls games, but after viewing many videos on the lore of DS1, I have an even greater appreciation for the atmosphere of the game and the boss encounters.
Biggest complaint is the lack of Steam cloud save! If you switch computers, you better look up a guide to keep your Dark Souls 3 data, for I lost over 200 hours of gameplay.
Do get the deluxe version when it goes on sale. I don't know why a game made in 2016 isn't on sale when GOTY 2022 (made by the same developers) is on sale. Deluxe version does add quite a bit of engaging gameplay... and really good equipment.



You can die to fall damage despite having equipment that negates fall damage. Very saddening.
