Best CRPG yet.

Awesome pixel art, cool characters, fun fishing.

* Gives an amazing experience of exploring a dangerous fantasy world at war.
* Story is told through the environments with varied locations populated by dangerous foes.
* Things are deliberately obtuse for sense of exploration and danger but there is lots of help available if needed.
* The tools allow you to overcome challenges in many ways, some much easier than others.
* Difficult but not unfair.

First Souls game I'd highly recommend anyone. The only caveat is finishing the game takes A LOT of time if you aren't great. This is good if you want an epic adventure that will last 60+ hours or bad if you have the need to "finish" things quickly or at all.

Very buggy. Will happily soft lock you 20+ hours into the game with no way to finish.

Unable to play on my Nvidia 1070 Windows 10 machine. Everything is zoomed in.

Don't buy unless you want to get into configuring weird video settings.

I'd return if I could until it's actually functional.

Update: 10/31

After the newest drivers released on 10/30 and the latest patch, the zoomed in view is gone. Now there's just terrible tearing during gameplay and a giant black bar during cutscenes.

Looking around, this seems to be because I have a 4k tv. Don't buy if you've got fancy hardware.
