Really solid game considering it's free. Maps are diverse and allow for very serious gameplay as well as more party/silly style gameplay. Achievements are only really there for more engagement and messing around so they're nice. It's high paced and allows for great player expression, so if high octane movement isn't your thing, that's okay! You won't be missing out on anything. Good game, fun with friends, and that's why I rate it a 7/10

Looking forward to the full project. The art style is very pretty and I like the environments, full game should be tons of fun!

Really fun game, achievements are mostly easy to get, the writing is charming, and the game is free. You can just get this great little experience for free. So play it. Trust me.

Heard about this from Chazington, great youtuber, and I'm honestly surprised! There were times where the game had obvious parts that are similar to other mascot horror games, but it's done well. When they have their own unique parts it's enjoyable and intriguing. Excited to see where this goes!

This game is pretty funny, and I don't really have much to say beyond that, it's fun and simple. I haven't played any of the games it's parodying so you don't have to understand any of those concepts beforehand to enjoy it. The game has a few challenging parts and the achievements are fun to get. Also it's free, if you're on the fence about playing it, don't worry it's not a virus.

This is probably my game of the year, it's so amazing and in-depth, I love it! I've already beaten the game once, and I already want to play through the whole thing at least one or two more times. I don't want to spoil anything, but just know it is an absolutely amazing metroidvania. Sprawling, gorgeous, and mystifying environments with well thought out puzzles and items that just work, even if at first it doesn't feel like it. Trust me, it's good, worth every penny!

I really enjoy this game, from the interesting rpg mechanics to the gorgeous art accompanied by interesting mysteries.
This game is really good, personally I would buy it full price in a heartbeat, but if you feel unsure about it wait for a sale, they usually happen during big sales across steam and even though the price decrease is small, a discount is a discount.

This game didn't work for me, I enjoyed parts of it, the plot was interesting especially near the end (though I personally think the "final boss" was a waste of potential for an actually interesting boss fight) where there is story points that re-frames the way you see the game, followed up by a redemption arc for one of the characters that got me excited... but then was immediately cut off with abrupt credits and a post-credits scene that made no sense to me.

Story aside the art is beautiful, the entire game is gorgeous, the moments with nothing but running and the backgrounds scrolling were actually very satisfying to have a break from the constant combat. Speaking of which, combat is fun but insanely repetitive, any chances you have to deviate and explore for a second or two left me disappointed, as it was either a small health related upgrade or a measly amount of ammo for one of the two guns you have which just left me discouraged from trying to explore. Combat on it's own was fine, the lack of enemy variation was a bit annoying late game but each combat sequence can happen so quick that I found myself not caring until the final half hour of game play. Also the shield generator thingies were really annoying later on when you have to rush past a flock of enemies hoping they don't get a cheap hit off only to try and destroy the shield generator and accidentally hit an enemy shield causing me to take damage i couldn't avoid.

My least favorite part by far was the Mueller boss fight which took way too long to do. On one hand it was a bit of a skill issue for getting hit by the same attack over and over, but on the other hand this is a fifteen minute long boss of the same two attacks where, as far as I'm aware, you can't use ranged weapons at all. I dislike that fight with a passion and I honestly was planning to leave a negative review for him alone.

I'm glad people enjoyed it and maybe Mueller made me a bit too salty but this was not fun, achievements weren't that hard at least but that doesn't change anything
