Still playing the game, but for the price and quality of the game design, its not worth it. This does not compare to the Civilization games. You would need to about 100+ more turns past the 600 turns at the slowest game speed to even get some of the end game science completed. That's with 5+ cities with over 600 research per turn.

I concur with others on the following:
- The fame "score system" is flawed and is a silly way to decide the winner and losers of a game;
- The religion system is half baked
- "Endless" turns are limited to 600 turns - barely get to using the medieval units or contemporary units
- Lack of customization options for your starting map. You cannot decide where you or others spawn for example. You cannot set proper victory conditions because fame is the real score
- The war support system is not intuitive to put it politely, even when you conquer all the cities, you don't have the "war support" to take all the cities, thus why would you even go to war if all you can get is 1 city.
- The AI blatantly cheats. You can tell the AI can see through the fog of war and in my opinion they spawn military units out of thin air. You can see this blatant cheating if you put your scout units on "auto-explore".
- Builder cultures have a decided advantage over most other approaches. Try going Egyptian -> Maya -> etc and comparing to another culture. It's clearly the most powerful approach.
- The AI is generally too aggressive, clearly cheats in technology, economy, etc. even when their city is 5x smaller than yours.

While I have completed every achievement and felt like I had seen most of the Fallout world, it pains me to say that about 10 hours of my gameplay was strictly around trying to fix bugs that have plagued my storyline for the railroad, brotherhood of steel, and prior to having to select a faction for the end results.

However, there were plenty of pros to this game:
- Great atmosphere/environment
- Enjoyed building my little town
- Game was challenging
- Nice storyline and side quests
- Damn those Fatman shots

Cons
- 10 hours of debugging and having to restart multiple saves due to corruption
- All hail the Cambridge blackhole of doom - I give credit to this post and continued updates to helping me finish the last 50% of the game's storyline - http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1546438-fallout-4-crash-in-specific-area/
- Sorry, but I can't really say GOTY, because Witcher 3 and Roach > Dogmeat
- Also, accidently shooting or area damage to a friendly during a firefight turns them red. That is fine and all, but when you make one of my companions turn red because of that he is kind of hard to kill in Sanctuary ... (Sorry Preston, you weren't meant to live I guess)

Conclusion:
Do I recommend the game? No, I advise my friends to hold off on playing it right now and holding off until they fix the blackhole in Cambridge. Once, fixed I would recommend the game to be safe to play, well within radioactive reason.
