It's a massive sandbox with a heavy focus on economics, logistics and management with a healthy bit of combat mixed in. The devs have a very open policy when it comes to modders and as such there is a good amount of mods that can add QoL or make things more spicy.

Wanna be a star fighter? go for it. Wanna be a miner? go for it. wanna run an empire? go for it. wanna roleplay as a pirate? add a few mods and go for it. Want to ally with the AI overlords and kill all humans? go for it!

The only limit is your imagination.

The game looks very good, the visual effects used make each map feel very unique and kept things from being visually boring.
combat was done in a fairly basic jrpg style but wasn't bad.
knowing where i had to go was a bit of an issue, it was a bit difficult to know where the exits are in the map and where they go.
some exits even very early on are blocked off, with notices that they are still being worked on.
in conclusion, first quick impressions are that it's a cute little game that I will continue to improve!

It was pretty good, the story was well written, it had pretty good voice acting and kept my interest pretty well!
As with all the games from this dev, combat is a little janky but shows improvements carried over and polish from mars war logs and the technomancer games.
