Massive L from Kunos here.

Recent update was brilliant and was going in the right direction in terms of physics, the Nurburgring, tourist servers. Genuinely had shades of shaping up to be something really good - and then they decided to take the career mode and economy progression everyone was excited to do in the free roam map and just shot it in the back of the head for no reason. Why not consult the community first? Why not put feelers out? This has absolutely killed any hope or drive I had for this game, it serves no purpose now other than having an updated Nurburgring and some modern cars, but thats nothing compared to what other sims do and even what the original AC offers. Absolute shambles.

[[ I BOUGHT FOR THE CAMPAIGN ONLY ]]

I haven't bought a cod for multiplayer in years, not my thing, I love the stories.

Unfortunately, even for the on sale price, this was a complete disappointment. Maybe its just how well MW2019's campaign was fleshed out, every level felt unique, vast, thorough, detailed etc. Some of it based on real world events too, such as the benghazi style embassy mission, but this campaign just felt so, so empty. Janky missions, weird all over the place story, bullet sponge armoured enemies ruined a lot of the missions too and just felt like a really lazy way to make them harder.

To be fair to it the last 3 or so missions were okay, but most of the campaign itself was just a boring grind, with only the cutscenes really being interesting. Much of the game felt like an advertisement for Warzone. I know having to go through the Warzone menu's to find multiplayer isnt a new thing, but jesus christ this is the worst one for it yet.

If you enjoyed how MW2019's campaign was for its more grounded story, serious tone etc, you probably aren't gonna like it. It's a very tacky story full of cheesy lines to hold it together, not even the good kind either.

The only saving grace for the campaign was the interactions with ghost in the story, Graves' character and the expansion of shadow company. That's it. A real miss on this one.

Got into being a medic, thought to myself "This is really fun finding people and healing them! Pretty chill!"

2 days later

Under siege and severely under supplied in a town with none of the medical kit needed to help properly, no blood plasma to revive the incapacitated, going from person to person who just got shot and apologising that I can't do anything as they slowly die. I bandage anyone in my trench that I can whilst they're still mobile, but they are getting picked off one by one.

The enemy is coming closer, friendlies covering the flanks in the trench to my left just got hit by a gas attack, no one got out, probably had no masks due to the lack of supply. To my right I see soldiers trying to pick up the wounded to bring them to me, not knowing that it is futile and I can't save them, and they both die in the process from overwhelming machine gun fire. I stay low to help the last man still fighting with me. I finish patching him up with my last bandage, and as soon as he is healed he is blown to bits by mortar fire. I calmly crawl to whats left of his blood splattered rucksack and take his rifle and last clip of 7.62. I await my fate.

yeah pretty good game

Fantastic game for long time play due to the sheer amount of mods available.
