Gotta say, the Stanley Parable 3: Revenge of the Hole was a perfect sequel to the Stanley Parable 2. It's almost like I was involved in it's development myself. It really had everything I wanted to see added in the Stanley Parable franchise. I can't wait to play this franchise once more in the Stanley Parable 4 on Monday at around 11:50 and then not again until it's inevitable sequel in slightly over 10 years.

Despite my time in this game, I'm still pretty bad. However, no matter when I play I have fun. A solid 8/10 and my favorite game personally despite its issues.

This is more of a message to newer players, get a group of friends to play this with. This game is fantastic with a group of goons to run around with. Even if you guys are bad, any form of coordination puts you above the zerg rushing masses. It also makes the sometimes awful grind fights a lot more entertaining. If you don't have anyone to play it with get involved with the community, there is still a pretty die hard fan base for this game that refuse to let it die.

As for actual game play, its good for the most part but age does show. The gun play is fun and the list of guns and classes mean there's a play style for everyone. Movement feels good for the most part but you may get caught on awkward terrain from time to time. Vehicles are fun but you should be careful about what you drive over, flipping will destroy your vehicle and the controls may be a bit wonky at first. Air vehicles are hard to pilot but very strong when you learn how to use them. Id also strongly advise working with the people around you. Fights can be one with smaller numbers and bigger brains.

The issue that a lot of people have is that the game is pay to win but that isn't really true. If you cant buy it with in game currency then its just cosmetic. The things you can get with premium currency are sidegrades of the default weapons for infantry and vehicles or their attachments which you can get with game currency. Class items are only game currency. Members do get an XP boost but its also applied in a smaller amount to all squad mates. The biggest issue is implants, while you can get them by playing, its a lot easier to just buy them and they are pretty strong. You also dont get them when you start.

There is little to no tutorial and you get dropped into a warzone with players much better than you. As I said before, their weapons are *mostly* sidegrades (some are just better) and the things that get stronger are class abilities (ie. cloak timer, jetpack feul, or healing tools) but the different abilities are also sidegrades. They will also have better implants which as I said are important. The biggest improvement I can suggest to the devs is helping newer players more. The best awy to fight this is stay in squads and ask questions. Voice and text chat are your strongest weapons. Communication is key. If possible try and find mentor squads as well, the leader should be trying to teach you the ropes.
