EARLY ACCESS REVIEW POSTED: OCTOBER 29, 2023
Despite all the day 1 issues and poor performance, devs are consistently rolling out updates, 1 or 2 a day. On day 2 we saw a 30-50% increase in framerate. Still a few crashes and lighting issues but they're being addressed faster than any other game out there and I won't be surprised if it's fixed within a week. The game looks amazing. I can get 100+ frames now on all medium settings near water at 2560x1440 with DLSS on. With these daily performance boosts and optimizations, I can see a bright future ahead for this game. Especially when DLC maps are released. Ignore any negative review posted day 1 as they don't hold up at all 2 days post launch. Call of Duty has consistently worse launches as a AAA studio and people still buy every game they publish, even if they don't fix glaring issues.
