I will remove replace this with a positive recommendation when they actually allow PC players to disable crossplay

(currently they only let console players disable crossplay, if you buy this you are forced to play with xbox and playstation users at all times)

Wasted dev & engineering for something that the actual fanbase never wanted. Stop making BRs.

PS: the cosmetics are horrible, looks like they based them off of early 2000s era hotwheels cars.

Great art style super cool weapons and ships -coming from playing the wildgate beta and this was instantly much better, lots of bugs and some clunky movement characteristics but I'm sure to be here to watch those get ironed out by this talented team. ~keep it up!

Great concept for a multiplayer game with smooth movement, animations and feelings all around- absolutely and abhorrently nullified by wacky, weird and uncomfortable art styles and "comedy" voice lines. its painful to play this or even be seen playing it just due to the characters alone. SAD.

I dont recommend it purely because the company continues to put aircraft of highly differing abilities at similar brackets in the matchmaker, this is because they want quicker queue times in the matchmaker (which are practically instant already) - it generally ruins the entire game.

This game has really strong mouse smoothing you cannot disable, the guns feel like squad and the health feels like cod, the game modes are that of a free to play and on top of all of that all of a sudden after having a artifacting crash... i'm 90% this game is what caused my GTX 1080 TI constantly change my monitor brightness between the scales of perfectly fine.. and next to impossible to see anything in online gaming.. and that cycle happens every 30 seconds to 5 minutes ever since i played the game for 10 minutes...

Valheim is an incredible experience and something that is missing from most modern games, actual progression and quality single player worlds with fantastic co-op gameplay and a feeling of freedom.. I highly commend the developers behind this software as i cant image creating something like this... So before i get on to my only complaints, IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING IT, DO. because its definitely something you wont find anywhere else....alright so my only complaints are more controversial and opinionated than they are factual but if i had anything i wished was different it would definitely be the PVP.. current PVP feels very gear dependent and not very skill based, it gets old really fast and i feel that players should do massively more damage against other players. My only other complaint is the generation of terrains and more specifically oceans.. i simply want oceans and waters to be more vastly, simple as that.. other than those few things this game hits it DEAD ON. Highly recommend.

I grew up playing games like BadCompany2 and Arma 2... never really got a chance to play something like battlefield 2 until I discovered a mod for it called Project Reality V0.95, from the age of 13 i fell in love with this mod and played it all the way up until i was around 18 when the spiritual successor to PR came out, SQUAD... this game is everything it should be and more... countless hours of fun with almost infinite potential, being the 22 year old backend developer that i am now its sort of become an inspiration to me and my career in coding... i would love to work on a project like this at some point in my future and i cant thank the team behind it enough for the years of work they've put in, o7 highly recommended.
