Good game. Not a lot of replayability but content is good

Just mediocre. Takes everything that makes Fallout and Elder Scrolls good and removes it. NG+ is a terrible mechanic (why would anyone possibly want to replay this game?). Devoid of life and substance. Ship flying is pointless.

Very fun and mildly challenging puzzle platformer. Great in game system for tracking progress on map. Logs of secrets.

People whining over difficulty just need to get good. DLC was always supposed to be harder than base game which is honestly not that hard if you keep grinding levels and use reasonably good upgraded weapons/ashs. As for the NG+ 10x people, I mean yeah its going to be hard. Just play on a fresh character or non-NG+.

Only negative is performance which is not so good. Even at "60 fps" you get so many hitches and pop in that you're basically playing at a lower fps. The 60 fps really limits the enjoyment and frame gen should be in the game by now. For the love of all that is holy, just uncap the fps people. No one really cares about fairness for multiplayer. It's primarily a single player game that allows you to skip all invasions/multiplayer if you want. I just want my multiplayer messages on the ground for fun with reasonable performance. When performance fixed, will change review to positive for sure.

An amazing 50 piece puzzle that you can explore across time and space to assemble correctly. One of the best puzzle games I've played.

GotY 2022 without question. The most accessible FromSoft Souls-like game. I'd give it a 9.5/10.

Praises:
- Best horse in any game
- High replay value in different weapons/builds
- Stays consistently challenging throughout, but not too unfair
- Open world is fluid and unmatched in scope/content by any other fantasy game (other than Skyrim)

Complaints:
- Mods & offline play required to unlock fps beyond 60 (online is required to 100% game and for coop)
- UI / UX is not the best. Very few things are clearly explained, but the wiki is good.
- Quests are not at all obvious how to progress and there is almost no quest marker/ and no journal. Read a Elden Ring Quest guide before starting if you want to 100% in a single playthrough as its easy screw up quests (and rewards) if done in wrong order (e.g. don't kill patches)
- Graphics and gamefeel is a little dated (sometimes clunky), but feels the best out of all souls game
- The view sometimes gets a bit funky if you stand to close to a corner or wall and you'll die for no reason
- Hitboxes when swinging weapons near a wall are a frequent annoyance

Neutral Statements:
- This game requires a controller
