Words can't describe how much this game means to me

I've tried and tried and tried to play this game, even with a 3070 and minimizing my settings, this game is riddled with buffering, stuttering, crashing. I don't know why EA has yet to patch any optimization but god, if you can deal with that- try it I guess.

Sonic Team really cooked on this game, I mean seriously.

Sonic Generations is a game that shaped my childhood, and Shadow is one of my all time favorite characters, so why would I not be excited when this game was announced?

- I'm writing this only finishing the Shadow story 100% all S'd , so that will be my main focus considering I've played the hell out of the original Generations.

The extra care? Amazing! The call-backs? Please! The new powers for Shadow? Thought he couldn't even get more badass?!

If you have never played Generations before, you'll love this game Sonic wise, and Shadow's story is also just as good!

DISCLAIMER though, unless you're a die-hard Shadow fan (like me), I would skip out on the Movie tie in, it's $6 for 1 ACT- 4 levels, if anything, get it on sale.

Finally, a port for this high anticipated game has came out!
Rocky launch though, no pre-purchase, pre-loading, etc; game crashes out the wazoo as well.

I'm sure later on this will be fixed soon game side, hopefully Nixxes patches this as the life-span of this game goes on.

In my first 8 hours of playing I was plagued with the dreaded GPU Temp message, multiple crashes almost ever 30 minutes, but after consulting the discussion forum and Reddit it's kind-of mellowed out.

In conclusion,
If you're okay with the unstable build right now, go ahead; it's super fun! But if that's a deal breaker, wait a bit and consult the internet to see if any of these issues have been fixed. - 2.1.25

UPDATE: they've fixed most of the crashing issues + audio issues, I recommend it 100% now!
