There is just something about owlcat games that are so ass. I pick the game back up, then drop it quickly. The character animations feel slugish to watch through in combat, and having to spam the spacebar to just get things to move at a decent pace gets tiring after a while. This also highlights the common issue with tabletop where you have to wait and wait and wait just to get to take your turn and miss because for the 6th time in a row your attack roll's dice got a 3. Fights are rarely interesting as, for the most part you're just fighting on flat areas, and when there is a more interesting arena, the game's lack of basic movement options makes it only ever a benefit for the enemies.

In the end it just makes me glad BG3 exists. In the terms of the youngsters, BG3 mogs Pathfinder:WotR

Honestly a very cool and unique experience. This is the type of game that continues to get better and better as time goes by. The different characters have familiar kits to some you would find in things like WoW or FFXIV, but each with some unique elements. All around a sold game that I am looking forwards to what they'll add next.

So far its been the best hunting gameplay out of rise/world. Ironically increasing the graphics fixed some of the frame issues that I was getting. The monsters started out with poo poo baby health pools, but as you get the 4th zone unlocked they start making more sense. All in all, a good experience so far.

This game has earned its place upon my 'Favorite games of all time' list. The characters actually feel unique for once and over all its a great experience. Oh and you cant forgetabout Galdo eh, he's the real bees knees! Cant wait untill Advent Dark Force comes out to play it again!

On a side note this game made me realize that tsundermasochistic tendencies are pretty hot.
