They removed Joy's callouts when she kills a special. Making her go from a brainrot inducing character I love playing to just annoying.

I preferred the Windows 98' version.

This is a horrible horrible excuse for an esports game.

TLDR; The gameplay doesn't accurately portray esports (only MOBAs atm) well at all getting just about everything wrong about them. The management side of the game is also bad, and in general the only good thing about this game is the graphics which they probably just used the same graphics from youtuber life. AND BEST OF ALL they are too busy adding spanish fortnight players and adding broken quality of life features to well make this an enjoy game to play. Basically is a mobile game they are selling for PC.

The Gameplay: It is stupidly basic which is ok as long as it simulates esport management well... It doesn't at all.

(Playing The Matches) According to this game you can only fight players who share your lane and you can't change lanes for whatever reason. Ok I've only played a MOBA like 3 times man v man but even I know this is BS what?! Why? So According to this game Junglers are the only ones who can attack the buff dragon and the buff dragon doesn't regenerate health... Both of those are wrong btw, and you can easily win most matches by putting your mid and jungle aggressiveness to max say you want mid to attack the most (which only works sometimes like I've told the game I want top to attack the most and the other 2 to stay back and it them had everybody but my top attack) and the other two lanes to be as safe as possible, and you'll win just about every game assuming you had the team train well.

(Management) Now this could be fine because you can simulate matches IF the management side of the game is good... Yeah no... No it is not... It is stupidly simple as well. Hey scout the opponents fully... Now practice... Now Rest... Now strategize... Now Rest... Now repeat... Seriously the hardest thing about this game is finding one backup player for when your player breaks his neck and is out for like 7 days.

Finally it feels like a mobile game. It feels like they were making a mobile game then their boss said "No we're going to release this on PC so that we can make more money" and this was... released. Don't buy this don't come anywhere near it or this company.


Side note(s): I should mention I know the is game isn't supposed to be a super serious simulation... But at least give me something better than this. There is a browser game for free that is a better management game than this. HELL I've had more fun playing a Chinese abandonware esports game which was half the price of this yet understood MOBAs WAY more.

Ok so my first draft was very long and I think a little too on the mean side so I'm going to try and keep this shorter and nicer.

TLDR; A very buggy game that is not an enjoyable experience. Would recommend you look at Sid Meier's SimGolf for a better experience.

This game is very buggy to the point of it probably shouldn't have been taken out of Early Access. There are bugs for just about everything the AI bugs out consistently, sometimes you can't play parts of the game without restarting it, and because of one of the bugs in the tutorial I spent about 2 hours just trying to figure out how to play. The game also crashed when I tried loading a save file form about 2 months ago.

The gameplay not just cause of the bugs either. The main thing of the game (building gold courses/holes) is annoying and at times tedious. It even feels worthless when you see an AI golfer hit the ball out of bounds over and over and again or hitting the ball 400+ yards consistently while in the out of bounds loop. Building buildings is also bad and you can't even change buildings after you build them? Like you can get comments from people saying they didn't like X building but you can't change anything about said building and the clubhouse doesn't count as a building? What? Playing the holes you made is also not fun the line that shows your balls trajectory doesn't change with the wind or when you add curve to the ball (the curve mechanics are also poor they feel waaay too strong) which makes playing the hole a lot more annoying since you are almost always just hitting the ball straight. The physics are inconsistent feeling and sometimes there are invisible walls that slightly stick up from the ground which can throw you ball out of bounds. I also wish the water has some differences or more differences than a different color.

There are a lot of quality of life things that should be added like allowing to remove trees from the hole creation menu (or well any menu where you build things) or being able to place land tiles despite a tree being on the tile, telling of the differences of each terrain (how it effects your aim and what not), and the scroll wheel scrolling the menus more than a few pixels per full rotation or increasing the scroll wheel sensitivity.

In general I think this game should still be in Early access and for cheaper. I think this game was a bit too ambitious for the developer. There is a lot lacking and most of it could be fixed but I'm not confident that it will happen based on the roadmap for this game. I also hope that even if you disagree with my opinion you can at least be civil.
