If you like programming this will be the best experience you ever had else meh.

A bunch of people say stuff like "meh the missions get repetetive" and i absolutly agree with that but the problem is they don't get the core aspect of the game.

This game is like minecraft you probably wont have fun defeating the ender dragon 100 times in a row but what makes the game interesting is building your own stuff. (and without coding knowledge its like playing minecraft without blocks)

this game is like that. you have infinite possibilites. Want to play chess ingame? go ahead write a programm that lets you do that. heck you could even make stockfish ingame if you really wanted to.

Also there are a few "hidden techniques" that give you advantages over other players if you spend enough time in the game. (and figuring those out isnt boring either. more like k I'll experiment with what a script does if i do that)

Trying playmade tools from others is also really fun

The roadmap is great and there are a lot of interesting features coming

Although:
there are a few annoying technical limitations like no non blocking input (there is a way arround this tho)
the debuging of the programming language is very bad
rarely you need to use ui
Websites are lacking i would love to see more webhacking (pretty sure tho the dev is planning on improving this

K so you might ask: Well i have programming experience but no ethical hacking/ unix command experience is this game still for me?

Yes it definitly is. The starting mission will be rough but it doesnt take long to figure that out. you will learn unix commands in no time. the default hacking commands are only necesarry if you don't want to make a tool yourself.

finally:
the discord is relativly active make sure to join there once you got the game
look at the date of other reviews. the game is changing constantly. the bugs mentioned in reviews from 2021 or earlier are not relevant anymore.
i actually think the ingame manual is fine but alot of others don't like it so look for a steam guide called hackers handbook for general advise and for programming advide search (on google) for grey script docs
if you don't have coding experience just try the game and refund it if you don't like it. alternativly you can learn coding. the language is relativly easy to learn (python'ish) but the documentations arent the best. Just be warned that the game is not intended for you. Don't leave a negative review because you can't programm.

TLDR if you like coding get this game rn else try it and if you dont like it just refund it.

for an early acces game this is really fun and i would recommend. Art style and everything is also real good but there are a few annoying problems:

1. Pls make me able to remove the rocks i want a organized city and with my walls being near the end of the world i don't need terrarain to integrate my defense
2. Make Market upgrades or let me place multiple markets. It's so annoying to only get 9 coins per minute. And also add a auto trade so i can restock my iron and stone without having to click 2 buttons every 2 minutes
3. Show me where im getting attacked more obviusly and also maybe make the patrouling better (so they automaticly search for enemys in the range of your building/ citizien)
4. Give me regeneratable mana. I have never used mana because i dont wanna waste it and i know it isn't regeneratable :/
